Absolutely gorgeous Amy!!! Plus..you seriously need to make a guided meditation tape or just talking cause your voice is soooo soothing!!! Thank you :)
y'all have no idea what a kick I get out of comments like this - seriously. I was told for yearsssss and years that my voice was annoying to the point where it took me a ton of attempts to even start doing videos back in the day (and lets just say that the ones that said that about me/my voice are no longer in my life for many reasons 😉). Anywho - I'm glad you enjoy my fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants voiceovers lol!
@@PrairiePaperandInk Those people apparently were a few ants short of a good picnic!! Your voice is calming so keep doing what you do!! I love watching your creativity at work and listening to your ‘therapeutic’ voiceovers!!!! If you ever decide to narrate an audio book ..let me know..I’ll be the first in line to get it :)))). Thanks for everything Amy!!!
Amy, these cards are absolutely stunning!!! I LOVE the shimmer and colors!!! All of it...gorgeous!!! Thank you for sharing your creativity with us!!! 🦋🦋❤
Both are outstanding! I especially like the first one, it looks like a stained glass window. I have tried to shimmer powders but can't seem to get it to look that good. I love the shimmer and shine a lot. Chef's kiss, Amy!
Amy, these are gorgeous!!!! I love the gold heat embossed background. And yeah... Those magical shimmer powders....:Magical❣️ The heat embossed butterflies are the perfect fit for your cards. 👌
Amy, these cards are gorgeous!!! The colors you used are my go-to colors also. Absolutely LOVE them! Thank you for the inspiration! You always make amazing cards. Love the SHIMMER!!! 💜
I purchased shimmer powders after watching you use them. I do like the lighter randomness of your first technique. The cards are so pretty. I too am a magpie and love all the sparkle and shine to these. Now off to play with my shimmer powders. Thank you!
So beautiful! The transformation of the background from when you're making it until it's dry and finished is amazing!! I love the color combo! Everything is just great! I've been using those Pinkfresh glitter drops like crazy. They're my fav right now! Thanks for sharing!
Wow those are absolutely stunning!! I love that color combination and that sparkle, "chef's kiss" as you would say! 😍 I definitely enjoyed the video! If I had powders I wouldn't be able to stop making backgrounds! 😂
I love the shimmer powders but I was wondering if there is anything that can be applied over them after they are dry? I don’t like the dullness they leave once dry. Very pretty how you added gold splatter on top.
The powders are pigment…so unlike watercolor, they can’t be rewetted and activated? Can you go back when it’s dry and add pigment powder if it isn’t really heavy? Will it change colors with colors underneath?
pigment doesn't mean permanent? Not many products are permanent when dry - on the rare times I use anything like that I mention it. These are definitely not permanent and yes adding more powder and/or more water will reactivate what's already there
The background you didn't like looks like a galaxy, especially with the splatter. 😊

Great Video Amy. I love your colour choices! Thanks for sharing 😊
So stunning, Amy! My favorite colors. I have the butterfly stamp set and agree it’s a favorite! TFS, Joan 😊
More therapy! I owe you! Wish we were neighbors. Oh, the fun! Hugs!💕
Pretty!!! I like how you tucked the butterfly a little bit behind the sentiment, clever!
so sparkly and bright.....and I liked your second background...I know it wasn't as "organic" as the first, but it still is lovely!

Wow, Amy, you always step it up a notch. Absolutely stunning cards!
These are soooo pretty the gold splatter was perfect!! LOVE!!
Very striking! Love the colors with the gold accent!
Gorgeous cards Amy! Love that shimmer and think both the backgrounds are great!
Both of them are wonderful. I forget to use vellum for embellishments. Thanks for the beautiful reminder.
❤ the Shimmer!
I love both cards!!❤❤❤❤😊
Beautiful beautiful cards
What beautiful cards! I bought some Lindy’s Magicals a while ago, but have never used them. After watching this video, I can’t wait to try them out.

Gorgeous card, Amy.
Lovely cards. Good technique. TFS
Sp pretty I just think your work is so amazing 😊
Gorgeous cards! Love them!💗💗
I too had a blast using the (messy) shimmer powders, but it took me several times before I was happy. Why not? It's just paper! 🤪
Such pretty cards. I don’t have Lindt’s powder, but some Nuvo ones. I really need to play!!
These are BEAUTIFUL! ❤ I can’t wait to try this technique! Thanks AmyR!
Gorgeous. 👏😊💕
Beautiful! I've tried mixing the powders first too. I used them to paint an image instead of a background and that worked better for me.
I've done that - videos for that are in the playlist ;)
beautiful
Loved these card Amy!!
Wow those are absolutely stunning!! I love that color combination and that sparkle, "chef's kiss" as you would say! 😍 I definitely enjoyed the video! If I had powders I wouldn't be able to stop making backgrounds! 😂

So pretty! ❤❤❤
Awesomeness! ❤
🥰beautiful🥰
Gorgeous! It is all your fault that I am not happy with just 1 layer on my sentiment dies.....lol.
These are stunning. I love your spLatter! ;)
haha ;) ;) ;)
Have you tried the Ranger Grey Tinted Embossing Ink? It has a light grey tint so you can see where you have stamped. Loved your cards!
nope - if I get a chance to get my hands on it tho I'll try it out!
I love the shimmer powders but I was wondering if there is anything that can be applied over them after they are dry? I don’t like the dullness they leave once dry. Very pretty how you added gold splatter on top.
I don't understand what you mean by dullness - they're bright and vibrant and shimmery?
Are Brushos similar to the shimmer powders? That's what I have. Would they work here?
they should work yup - same concept just no shimmer from what I understand
The powders are pigment…so unlike watercolor, they can’t be rewetted and activated? Can you go back when it’s dry and add pigment powder if it isn’t really heavy? Will it change colors with colors underneath?

@@PrairiePaperandInk pigment inks are permanent as are pigment markers. It’s good to know what to expect with these powders. Thank you Amy.
@@barbarahill6365 yes I misspoke - pigments are permanent but these aren't pigments they're dye based. Dye's aren't permanent but many of them stain.
@@PrairiePaperandInk Thank you!
What is your watch background?
just a rainbow watch background - downloaded it forever ago
Yummy!
Gah! Lovely!
Do not lick your artwork🤣🤣🤣
