We are TheFALLCoFamily, a HOMESCHOOLING FAMILY OF FIVE loving, living & learning together where HOMESCHOOL IS LIFE! A few years ago we (Syreena & B) decided to trade in the “traditional” life for a life of FAITH & LOVE and took the risk to homeschool our children (Cameron, 9, Kendall, 7 & Savannah, 5) in hopes of fulfilling our purpose together as a family. This is our channel where we document our adventures in homeschool, business, vision & life, because we believe in the JOY is in the JOURNEY!!
We started a couple of businesses, one storytelling & memory keeping through photography & film-making at www.syreenabcreative.com , the other making “things for the JOURNEY” at www.thefallco.com and then our vision grew and we added our kid business at TheFALLCoKids to build a community of creative kids discovering their gifts and exploring the world where we “LIVE WHAT WE BELIEVE”.

You have an hp printer. You don't have to buy ink cartridges if you enroll your printer in Hp Instant Ink. You only pay for pages and they ship the ink to your doorstep automatically when you're low. You can print 300 pages for $10/month, and the plans go up from there. All the ink you need for $10-$15 a month. You might know this already. Lol But if not, hope it helps😊

You are brave with glitter glue! I created the kids an art space in our sun room that they can get super messy during their creative genius. But I draw the line at all things glitter. It’s my kryptonite. 😂

My husband hates glitter too. No matter how careful my 10 year old is, it dosnt stop the guys at work when he comes in with glitter on his face because she left behind even a dab of it. Other truckers can spot a spec of glitter from a mile away. It just gets everywhere.

I use super tips as highlighters. They are the best if you want a variety of colors.

We use basic things too. And store brand when we can lol . im getting more supplies later today. I plan on going to Walmart first then dollar tree because walmart has some supplies less then a dollar so thats what i normally do 😀

We loved The Miraculous Journey of Edward Toulaine. I was surprised, because we really didn't like Tale of Despauraux. My supplies are really basic too. You use what works, right? Where did you find the Chalktastic? I've never seen anything like that.

I have been enjoying using highlighters with our lessons for parts of speech. However we dont get to pull them out nearly enough. I am very interested in the fruits of the spirit book that I peeped on the desk lol. We are going over that as well and so far I have read the bible verses by which that applies. We go over one fruit every day and then the kiddos color as we review. I am going to look into more stories that show those particular characteristics to add into to the lesson. Anyhow, please share lol. Oan, my experience with patreon has been okay. I supported 2 other artist but they took down their site a couple months after starting without stating a definite reason. I pray that it works out for your needs. Keep sharing! 😍🤗💙

I love the pencil eraser! And Taicandaroga pencils are my favorite! I'm moving and we will have a real room this year! And I'm debating a chalk wall verses my huge chalk board. Leaning toward a chalk wall.

May I ask about how you teach note taking? I'm working on that with one of my kids and probably two next year and I don't think she gets it. I know you're taking a different road this year. But I love this video. I watched it last year I'm sure but this year I can actually possibly do more of what I want instead of just surviving the year and hoping for progress.

Love the content here - just a question- do you still use tgatb library book suggestions? She does not recommend the book Wonder at all and says there are some inappropriate topics, swearing, disrespect to parents, teenagers kissing, name calling, etc that i would not be ok with my little people reading. Tale of Desperaux is another book that is awful and dark. I wanted to throw this out there because a lot of popular best sellers are actually not books that kids should be reading and i think a lot of parents pick books on the assumption that since its popular or on a best sellers list that it is good. We use a lot of other curricula outside of TGATB but i refer to her free list of recommendations or not often. Thanks so much for sharing such beautiful content
