Very nice - like those stencils and have never seen them before. Do you have a shot of the back after the final firing with the bronze mica - interested to see what the backside would look like if it were used for a bowl. Thank you for all that you share with us.

Thank you, didn´t think about taking a picture of the back. Now, it is too late, I don´t own the plate any longer. But, I remember it had a very bronze back.

Lena THANK YOU so much for the tutorial. I just built my own kiln and now look forward to learning to use it. Could you please tell me what firing scheduled you used for this peace. Dnot know if it's good or bad but my kiln can be programmed for 50 steps.

Hi Joe, thank you for watching. I think I used the full fuse schedule for the first firing and the super bubble squeeze schedule for the second firing (adjusted to which kiln I used): www.warm-glass.co.uk/kiln-schedules-cms-74.html

Why not start off with the sheet glass as a base and save the messy paper ?

Of course, it would be possible. But I wanted my bronze mica to shine through the powder. This is just an example and you can do it however you want

Hi Jakki, I think I said bronze, Mica. You can use any water-based medium (I think I used UGC, Unique Glass Color).

      I think I used this schedule for my first firing: Segment 1222°C/hr(400°F)→ 677°C (1250°F)30 min, Segment 2333°C/hr(600°F)→ 804°C (1480°F)10 min, Segment 3999°C/hr(999°F)→ 482°C (900°F)60 min, Segment 4 83°C/hr (150°F) → 371°C (700°F)End

      I think I used this for my second firing: Segment 1222°C/hr ( 400°F )→ 600°C (1112°F)30 min, Segment 2111°C/hr ( 200°F ) → 677°C (1250°F)60 min, Segment 3333°C/hr ( 600°F )→ 804°C (1480°F)10 min, Segment 4 999°C/hr ( 999°F )→ 482°C (900°F)60 min, Segment 583°C/hr ( 150°F )→ 371°C (700°F)End

Where did you buy the stencils from?

I think it was Ebay, google Rangoli stencil if you can´t find them. Just be sure you buy stencils with a metal frame
