This clip actually fits the mind.in.a.box story-line really well, because this guy looks very cyber-cowboy, which is how they described The Friend to look. If you hadn't mentioned that the clip came from something else, I would've thought it was a music video to go directly with the song.
I'm glad this is still up. I understand miab is anal about their songs on RUclips but, you know, I'd like to share my music too. My facebook feed is full of people sharing all of their crappy music in RUclips format. Without videos like this, I have no response. Plus, I find it hard to believe that RUclips is a large conduit for piracy. Anyone that has patience to use a service to strip the audio from these videos could just as easily download via bittorrent or a file sharing site.
I've noticed that mind.in.a.box seems much less likely to take down videos that actually add something artistically. Araxi's incredible videos for "Change" and "Escape" come to mind.
I bought this song *because* of this video, but I generally don't support artists that get anal about copyright control. They should focus on promoting their art, not policing it (imho).
How could you upload it without having a severe response from youtube an the same MIAB, mate? i upload that song remixed by code 64, and there was not even a day on youtube? :(
