One huge drawback is no cloud storage of footage. If burglars hit your house while you are away and take your Panasonic HomeHawk with them, you have nothing to show the police. Its other fatal drawback is to not allow you to download the clips unless you are on the same network as the camera is. You are at work, and your camera alerts you of burglars. You got the footage, but you can't download it because you are on a different network. Burglars take your HomeHawk, and you are screwed.
I have the HomeHawk Outdoor Camara and I like it. I'm having trouble with formatting the SD, how do I do that? Supposedly it's suppose to create a folder but have no idea 😕

I like that, easy to move to different parts of the house for different viewing locations unlike hard mounted cameras.
Does the camera pan downward from a second floor window? I live in apartments and need surveillance on my car due to damage being done.
no monthly fees and it will allow your phone to monitor from anywhere ?
