Dude, I am a complete DERP when it comes to anything technical in MC and I built this farm on stream today based on written notes from this vid. Yeah, someone had to help me fix some minor mishaps but even still... it's so satisfying watching the guardians cook. Excellent tutorial!!
My first guardian farm and so so easy to build! Also, I think the rates are perfect. I really don't need any farm that gives me 50,000 blocks an hour... Honestly, this farm is kinda genius.
Nice farm Cortez! I built it after your hardcore episode that featured it - worked it out by watching that. Nice to see I didn't do too much wrong and it worked great first time out. 33 mins for me on that attempt but I forgot about the offset AFK spot so the rates were down a little - easy fix though.
This works on bedrock im in a normal mode survival realm so my drops are slow than if it was on hard it would work much better Tip the AFK spots on Bedrock is within the first 30 lilypads he placed for it to work decently and still spawn them You can also hand crank start it by killing the stray guardians close by If you can figure out the spawn locations of the the other guardians and build pillars there you can prevent them from spawning (other farm vid on YT know lol) also make it more effective thay way
It does work on bedrock drops are lower. Also have to block 21 spawn areas and figure out afk spot. But beyond that it is excellent. I dont like trident killers and i just wanted the drops.
@@derram0k So when i'm making a water elevator i can just use sand for the one side without kelp? Do magma blocks also create columns without kelp? What i've always done is two columns of water with dirt bottoms, fill with kelp, break, swap out the bottom block for soul sand and magma block, boom elevator.
You don't need kelp if every block is already a source block, so if you place each bucket of water in the shaft or if you place and break ice. If all you do is place a single water source at the top you'll need the kelp to replace the lower flowing water with water sources. @@hermaeusmora2945
@@hermaeusmora2945The soul sand works without placing the kelp first because all the water was source blocks. Kelp is used to turn flowing water into a source block. So when you put water at the top of a column for a water elevator besides the top water source all the other water is seen as "flowing," so placing a soul sand at the bottom would not work. The same can be said for magma. Also, you don't need to create a magma bubble elevator bc you can just jump down into water instead. Much faster.

Excellent, I saw you build this in the other video, great turnaround! Can't wait to try this out!

Dude this farm is incredibly fast for how simple of a build it is! Thank you
I can't believe how quick and easy this was to build! And so effective too! Thank you! 😄✨
This is so underrated as a farm.... No need for getting obsidian for portals, or need for alot of materials in general. Also very efficient.
Gonna try this on bedrock, great tutorial as always mate
Yeah, it should work just fine on bedrock.
Looks awesome, and so easy! Definitely going to try this one! :D
Working like a charm! Many thanks, easy to build in survival. 😃
Did you have to deal with Guardians attacking you any?
@@hermaeusmora2945 Yes, when I ran out of invisibility potions. 🤣
@@lojison5594 Ok, thanks for the heads up!

PS if you have access to allays you can make a simple ink farm here as well

So it won’t work on bedrock without covering spawn areas? Also where is the optimal afk spot for bedrock?
Can you make a tutorial on how to cover this with a Japanese style build? I’m curious about how would you create Japanese buildings over water!
If I were going to cover this up with a build, I think I'd do a ship. I don't currently have any Japanese ship designs though.
Will this farm work for bedrock? Just subscribed
I haven't tested it on bedrock, but I imagine it'll work just fine.
I know nothing of ocean monument mechanics… do we need to kill off the elder guardians first?
No
great vid
If i cleared out the monument and like hollowed it out could i build this inside?
If you were to go to the effort of doing all that, there are better designs you could build. This is a minimal effort farm.
What? Just putting soul sand creates a bubble column? I don't need kelp on dirt first? How have i never known this before?
Water sources above soul sand turn into bubble columns.
The kelp thing is for turning flowing water into water sources.

@@unironicpandaOk, thanks for the explanation.
Hello sir , Can you make Entertainment district ( demon slayer ) in Minecraft
Does this work after you kill ender guardians?
Yes
tutorial house fantasy medieval please
I’m unsure is this for Java or Bedrock?
This is Java, but it should also work on bedrock
Nice
They give me 10 dollars to build a house on a server😊
