My grandma went to prince Edward island to see the house where the movie was filmed and when she came back home she brought a Anne porcelain doll. I was so excited. It was a good movie growing up.

amounts of poison into their foods that our treacherous FDA in the U.S. does… It literally costs more here to eat healthy, fresh, organic foods than it does to eat processed and preserved contaminated garbage. Killing the people and keeping the pharmaceutical/medical industry booming… Fodder for the Machine.

I have the full set of Anne of Green Gables which I have watched so many times. I lent them to a friend at work and she kept them for months. She was besotted with Gilbert and she too, watched them over and over again.

I have been a fan of Megan Follows for years. Bravo to Megan for standing firm on women's issues, and important world issues as well. She is not only beautiful and lovely on the outside, but she is even more beautiful on the inside. She is wise beyond her years, and a total blessing to the entertainment business.

Megan will forever be Anne from Green Gables and Avonlea. As a Disney Channel fanatic as a kid, I watched her in both of those films and in another movie called Return to Hannibal, she played Becky Thatcher.
actually still primarily think of her from her 3 part stint on Littlest Hobo. nobody was on more than an episode, and yet here's three of them... plus a cutie my age. she rocked it as Anne- grrrrl power, and has matured as a great actress and director (hopefully more directing projects to come)
I've got all 3 Anne of Green Gables set. Loved that show. This is the first time I've seen her as a full blown adult, still a sweetheart.

Megan Follows is drop dead gorgeous! I've had a major thing for her ever since Stephen King's Silver Bullet when I was a kid. She blossomed into a stunning woman! She seems like such a sweetheart too.

Wow! i am french but love LOVE MEGAN FOLLOWS.She's smart,bright and beautiful in her way and she speaks very well .She is a single woman but she's mature and i love her mischievous smile and eyes she already had in Anne of Green gables and other movies.And she 's funny too sometimes and her eyes are so shining and have sparkles she must be nice in real life ,funny even if a bit strict .. Yes, I agree and I think all the fake in Hollywood these days are just insane. When we see other women in other countries and how they live and are. If only they could see how some people have to live. Here in Hollywood: whens the next plastic surgery. And to so many in other countries: where's the next meal coming from. Think about that!!!

As a mother of two sons and a daughter, I can fully identify with Megan's description of her son and her daughter!
That's too bad, but you're allowed to not like it. You probably got an earful about it growing up. I'll bet Megan is more sick of hearing about Anne than you are, though. She'd want to get through one interview without having to talk about it. When I met her, my dad asked her if she's sick of talking about it. She gave a very diplomatic answer: "You know, it was a good role." so... I can understand her not wanting to talk about a role from 26 years ago.

It's sad that people only ever want ask actors about one roll they did way back when, when they have been in many other successful productions, and don't treat them like regular people. It's also sad to think that it might taint her memory of being Anne.

“Thinking we have an equality that we don’t have” I THINK she is discussing physical strength. And all we women NEED to understand that. Men are indeed physically stronger. Bodybuilding or no - men will ALWAYS be physically stronger that is how God designed us. As a Christian I DO believe that and submitting to a husband, HOWEVER, when it comes to work etc we should be paid for what we do equally. For instance, I was a Naval Police Coxswain in the Australian Navy, and I got paid EXACTLY the same as my male counterparts and that’s how it should be! But we need to be realistic, there are some things men are stronger than us.
She went from being the cute farm girl of Avonlea, to being a gorgeous woman.

Well, when you say the name "Meegan Follows" the first that comes to mind is that you pronounced it wrong.
Paul Leach Actually that is how her name is pronounced. Meegan. I’ve heard an interview with her mother from years ago in the 80’s when Anne of Green Gables came out and she made it perfectly clear that that’s how it’s pronounced. Not Megan. Definitely different.

Paul Leach Maybe so. There is a 4 part video series about her family that I just watched, The Follows Family, and it’s Meegan through and through. It just always stuck in my mind after I heard that interview with her mom that I think was about the making of Anne of Green Gables. Probably in 1987 or 88. Because it was different I guess.
