For momentum m1v1 + m2v2 = (m1+m2)V' , if m1 object is going to the right and m2 object is going to the left before they collide, you add Negative sign to m2 right? since its opposite direction.
I thought you dont need to know formulas anymore because they will give you all the formulas. That what all the physics teachers in my school said
None of these formulas are given to you , you have to know them all
