As ridiculous as it sounds, Dragonforce was basically responsible for getting me into music in general. I began listening to them in late middle school, and my musical tastes began to expand from there. My first ever concert was with Dragonforce. They were my favorite band for a few years, but even now, I have them to thank for introducing me to the world of heavy metal.

It's a genuine tragedy how that seemed to stop happening at some point along the way. I would give anything to have that imagination and wonder back. I still love Dragonforce and their music, but I just wish it still did the same things to me that it used to do.
2020/21 I was into DF, my first year of college...i even named my first coming home before summer road trip the LAST JOURNEY HOME I still get nostalgia rush from DF sometimes. my metal phase lasted up until i got into prog at the end of '21 and into '22.
I think the trilogy of DF songs is easily 1. Inside the Winter Storm 2. Last Journey Home 3. Heroes of Our Time There's a sort of story that goes with them, and it's cool to look deep into.

I wish the full version had a video, I almost never watch the video because it's too short. Same with most of their stuff unfortunately. They did a sick version of "Heros of our time" where they added the video bits in, so good.
