This is definitely a beautiful piece of art! Whether or not someone finds it their own personal style is not the point. What some find stylish for their homes, others may not. We all have different tastes. This took an incredible amount of talent and creativity to build. Its not only about being great with woodworking but also the imagination he put into the piece. That is what makes it priceless and amazing.
His skill is impeccable, no doubt. Stylistically? Ermmm, that’s subjective. Brings to mind the nouveau riche pretentions of the 80s. Not to my taste. But phenomenal work!
I think his whole point is to be over the top though. He doesn’t want to make normal, modern furniture pieces. They want them to stand out and be unique. They want it to be “too much”...

They should have been silver it would have blended much better.soon as he added gold to it,it became tacky....he is absolutely amazing in his many talents...Amazing!!

Pretty sure it was a custom piece someone had ordered for a six tub bathroom or a chest in the hall with six bathrooms. Did you not see the seg.ent where the six colored tubs were selected? He's not someone that would make something like this hoping it would sell. I'm guessing lol

Anyone who has the patience to draw, cut and sand all those little pieces of aluminum and draw perfect lines freehand deserves many thumbs up for that alone! Not my style (although I'd love that top as a bathroom counter) but it's a magnificent, skillful, unique work of art.

These are one of a kind pieces, I believe that is his goal here. I have seen some ugly art hanging in museums and people pay millions to buy them and hang them in their home, you know why? Because they are one of a kind, they are different just like his art!!!! I think this guy is amazing at what he does, I wish I had half his talent!!!
Nick Terrell I agree. Although I think it would be exceptionally beautiful if he’d just went with the seascape design and not added the metal scales and changed that red to a tan/sand color. All in all, the craftsmanship was incredible, I really liked watching the construction of this piece.
His skill is amazing! Loved the separate elements of the piece. Together it is a bit much for my taste, but again that is my taste. I was amazed at the beauty and skill of each separate section of the piece. The sea horses were beautiful. Loved the dragon scales. The epoxy painting on the one door loved it. Amazing skill.

I would love a website with a gallery of the pieces represented to peruse at leisure. Seeing the final thing on a fast moving video is not enough. It would also be lovely to know the history - it's inception, design process and perhaps it's intended use or the client's home. Perhaps a magazine? Fabulous work you do in all respects.

Absolutely. Blown. AWAY!!! This is so BEAUTIFUL! I had three different ideas as this was being built. First I thought this was going dragon inspired, then I thought knight inspired, and when I saw the top being made, it dawned that this was mermaid/beach inspired! I know what you are trying to say and as someone who does similar work but with rings, I sometimes cringe at what customers ask me to make but the bottom line is if the customer is willing to pay the price, I'll be happy to do my very best at making for them what's in their mind. The craftsman who did the work did a phenomenal job and has wonderful tallent. It was just the final project that as you stated and I'd agree, isn't of my taste but maybe this is due to what is popular in a different region or people? No disrespect to the artist but when I saw the end result especially with all the red velvet my first thought was it was something made for a brothel.
