The stuff that comes out of me looks NOTHING like what comes out of you!! 😂😂😂 Why? Because you’re an actual artist. Thank you Jesus for the gift that is Sandy Allnock! ❤️❤️❤️
I love that you teach us something new in each and every video that you do beyond just the basic card making. As viewers are so lucky that you continue to share more and more of our knowledge with us every day. Thank you. P.S. The card and critters are adorable!
Sandy, you are such an artist. It"s a pleasure to watch you work. Thank you for pointing out that we do this for fun. I think crafters tend to forget that sometimes. God bless
The forest background... no words. Oh yeah, there's one... G E N I U S !!!!! OY you are truly an amazingly talented gal who, I'm just going for it, I'm going to light votive candles around while bowing down saying, "I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!". Love. 😃💖
Sandy have I told you this week how AMAZING you are??? You make those backgrounds look so easy lol. Mine would have looked like all of the trees and leaves were deformed lol! But these little guys are really adorable and you did a wonderful job on this as usual. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into this color chart. It is absolutely amazing and really made me look at my Copics in a whole new light. I am no longer getting frustrated because I can't get something to blend right. So I can't tell you THANK YOU enough! You are wonderful.
Sandy your such a great colorist and painter. Your drawings are fantastic and you could work for the Disney studios. You remind me of the old artists when Disney was alive. It's always a joy to watch you work. thank you so much for sharing your talent with all of us who admire you. pat
Gorgeous Sandy. I hope to , one day have this level of confidance that eveything will work out in the end. And you are absolutely right. The time you spend on a card should be fun time and not rushed time.
Truly delightful!!! Yes, I do love to color for the natural relaxation and special art "high" we feel. It must release endorphins or something. I love using your hex chart!!!
Love everything about your card! I love the Hexagon chart! It's helped me tremendously! Thank you! And thank you so much for participating on the TGF blog Hop!
How cute are they :) and the way you "scribble" the background......WoW! hehe you're like the amazing female version of Bob Ross with Copic's (and more of course) :) You never seize to amaze me Sandy! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
I love coloring in my own backgrounds and it was so much fun to watch this one develop! I just bought/colored your hex chart and I'm finding it very useful! Thanks so much!
When I first looked at the card, I thought the tree background was a photo with the critters fussy cut and glued to the photo! You are just so talented a blessed from God with a amazing gift. Thank you for sharing and teaching. :0)
Words of wisdom! If we were to sell our cards by the per hour range no one would buy them... I love the background and completely understand you by instinct comment! Thank you
As usual another fantastic video. You do make copic coloring fun. (And being fun is what it should be.) It is amazing to watch you 'work your magic' on a scene. (Love the stamps.)
WOW, wow, WOW! I love this video and I love your hex chart! I'm going to print it and use it today! Thank you so much for sharing the chart and how you use it. I also am amazed at your coloring & background.
I took two says for my latest layout. I knew what I wanted, but I was not quite sure how to put it together. when I decided how, it still took me another 3 hours to finish. So yeah, take your time, all the time you need. Cutest card I've seen in a while, tfs, Katie
Just when I think (this where I need italics...LOL) I could almost turn out some work like your craft cards - you do a video like this! Woooooow! The forest is awesome and helps to add depth to the stamps. Imma go back to working on my stick people now.
:thud: Seriously, you amaze me when you say it just comes out of you and there is nothing to creating that beautiful forest behind your scene! I love it! I also love the hex chart - once I filled it in properly LOL - I found myself reaching for new combinations I otherwise wouldn't have as well as I tend to color within color families - I'm excited to use it more and more!
This card is fantastic---the forest is amazing as well. And, I can't thank you enough for introducing the hex chart!!! It has changed the way I color :-)
I use Copics a lot, but nowhere near as much as I could. I am going to concentrate on practicing backgrounds. If it works, great! I can stamp/color images and layer them on top. If not, I have not wasted the time coloring the images and then messing up the background. It's win/win. Thank you for sharing!
I love hearing more about how you use your hex chart. It's a great tool for selecting colors and seeing the relationships between the colors! Thank you for all the tips.
Omg I love how you draw your background. I could never do something so detailed and nice. Though that is mostly because when I would have done the first two layers of colors I would have got discouraged and gave up. lol
Don't know how I missed this one. Any way, you did a great job as usual. I love how you draw the forest. I don't use Copics but will work on figuring out how to do this. Practice practice practice. Thanks for sharing.
Hello Sandy I'd like to thank you for all your inspiring work, I have sever anxiety so when I have time to craft I love how it calms me and feels like peace plus watching your video's gets me excited to try something new. And alas I'd like to thank you for that :)
Sandy, I love watching all your videos. I did take a class with you at creative Ladder. I have also signed for you on-line classes. I always learn something wonderful from your amazing videos. I recently purchased your hex chart. Do you plan to do one for ShinHan Touch Twin? I understand Copic but Shin Han doesn't have rhyme or reason in their coloring system... unless I am missing something BIG LOL. Marie
HI Sandy :-) I love all your videos. They are so informative and your easy to follow. If it weren't against my religion to worship you, I would Lol.Thank you so much for sharing your wealth of knowledge with us.
Hi Sandy! I am in love with your videos and coloring! It inspired me... I would love to start coloring with copics, but I just have no idea how, which markes I should start with, how to choose colors... specially since they are not cheap, I would like to kinda start the collection slowly... do you have any tips to give me? Thank you!
Caroline Moura I know professional crafters stand by the Sketch copic markers but if you're at a learning stage and want to get a feel for the nib and the ink blends but don't want to invest too much, I recommend you check out the Ciao copics. They're inexpensive and refillable (you just have to do it more often) and while they don't offer the luxurious color variety of the Sketch collection, they're a good tool until you know you're comfortable with the marker and can graduate to Sketch.
Love, love, love the Hex chart. Your coloring is amazing. I am getting back into Copics and hear that they are going away. Thank you so much for restoring my account to access your site. There is so much information.❤️❤️❤️ Where can I get various ink refills? Thank You.
@@SandyAllnock1 I heard that store stock will not be replaced once they sell out due to new import fees. I am excited that you are not aware of that. It must just be one of those legends that prove false. Thank you Sandy!! ❤️❤️
I LOVED your video! The coloring tips were great and I loved the coloring on the critters but I was bowled over by the background! Wow! Very impressive! I have a ? ...I noticed you have washi tape on your markers. Do you have a system with that or? I did the same on my Spectrum Aqua markers so I would know which set they came from. No clue on how to use it with my Copics... Thanks again. Kathi
Sandy, I'm loving your chart!!!!! I was wondering if you could give me any tips so that I could tackle making a chart for my Spectrum Noirs... Cute scene!! Thanks for sharing. Lauri
I have no idea what Sandy will suggest. But I've recently gone the Spectrum Noir route. Their main web page has a colour your own hex chart. I'd suggest you find a way to make the chart bigger, Colour it up with what you have, then spend some time fussy cutting out the colours you have. You can also down load a pre coloured chart. Then like a jigsaw put together the colours how you like them best. Then when happy, do a good copy and stick it onto card. That all being said. I have no idea how the colours outside their series mix together. I imagine it would take a LOT of work blending the colours to figure out what will work.
Windkisssed Yeah I'd recommend cutting them out, my method was tedious. Each time I was "sure" it was going to be the final one, and starting over to handcolor each one seemed like it was going to be ridiculous effort when I was already close. But...that turned out to not be so!
If you do a Google search you can find a cross reference chart someone did between Copics and the Noirs. That should make it a little easier. Hope that helps.
Markers at the start of the video, do you say it goes from higher to lower numbers, i.e. light to dark? I am confused and I think I have done this myself! Sorry and thanks, Annnette
Hi Sandy, I got the YG95 for the background of the forest which truly does not look like your green. Is the YG95 the actual number. I love your video, I am new at Copics and learning a lot. Thank you so much for teaching us.
That's..that's amazing and i bvery very very adoree your way to drawing.I'm very sad beacause i live in europe, bulgaria and i very very want to take your classes, but i cant because you live in another country and yeah, thats so sad because you are wonderful!
Dear Sandy , i bought your chart its so amazing . I have question now i do not have all the colors . It appeared a color alone without another share in its hex . How can i deal with that ?
KonMobdean BeCreative Try blending it with something in the area - you don't want to blend adjacent colors anyway, for the most part - colors next to each other are pretty similar. I hope that's what you're asking!
Wow, your coloring makes your card look 3D. This is such a beautiful card! I hope someone special who appreciates handmade cards receives this card and saves it forever! ;o) Dinorah

Adorable! Have a question? Where did you get your hex chart?
With all the work that went into that image, I hope that person knows they are really special to get that card.

Now that's a good idea... Cutting out and jig-saw puzzle manipulation... Much easier than re-coloring each time...
