I don’t think the bone is springtrap. This might sound crazy but what if it belonged to Sparky since he’s a dog. Scott canonized sparky in a Freddy files book a few years ago so considering The Week Before is all about Fnaf 1 this could be a reference to its No#1 Easter Egg/Hoax for the 10 year Anniversary
That’s… With all due respect, no. Just no. The vent isn’t just Bonnie sized, it’s animatronic sized. Even Foxy starts climbing around in it in Night 4. Not only that, how would Springtrap even move? Springtrap is in the Safe Room, in animatronic mode, outside the pizzeria’s layout. Unless William could somehow overpower the suit’s programming (which he cannot. That’s the whole reason why he follows the audio lure in FNaF 3 and 6), he could not move while in the Safe Room, and I don’t think that room’s connected to any vent system. Not only that, any bones Springtrap might have would have been crushed by the Spring Locks, so how would he have left a bone? …Also this brings up another point, why didn’t Springtrap just make his way to an area of the restaurant and walk out the front door? Why stick around until someone opens up the Safe Room? It’s likely that the bone is actually from another employee, like, I dunno, Bob the Night Guard. Ralph says most people leave, but that could very well be a lie he tells himself, or just him not trying to slip up that he’s trying to warn whoever comes next of their possible fates.
My theory was that because they mentioned bonnie out of all the animatronics then ralph finds a bone I thought that this meant maybe springtrap left it as he climbed through the vents. We see the saferoom only as a 8 bit sprite there could easily be a ventilation system afton could have used vents as maybe as you mentioned he heard music from the main stage room or other noises of children and after sitting there for 30 years what else is bro gonna do besides sleep.
