The mother and father of a Gilroy man shot dead Thursday by San Jose police during an arrest said at a candlelight vigil Saturday evening that they aren’t getting any answers from police about what happened.

@@Carlosss408 Some parents do realize their son is a bad and won't make this public spectacle of making him out to be some kind of victim when he took the life of someone else. We can feel bad for their loss, and at the same time be critical of them for not raising up their son to be a better human being. Some people are definitely bad apples, but this act of making him out to be some kind of victim tells us that they made excuses for his bad behavior in the past which led him down a destructive road.
It could happen to any of us, but most of us had parents who were sensible enough to discipline and set rules and be good examples. Rule #1 don't kill another human being.

We don't think negatively the way you do. We could be pillars of society. We could become police and save lives. No this wouldn't happen to us we are not criminals. Life is not about negativity the way you make it out to be. If you have kids give them up for adoption so they'll have a better chance of having a good life

If I failed to raise my son, and he was killed by police for killing, i would blame myself for not helping him and I wouldn't blame the officers for killing him. A parent's pride should be their child.

Well this is the second or third homicide of the weekend in the city of San Jose how was that encryption working now doesn’t seem like it works too well even though the main channels are encrypted crime is still happening in San Jose so why not open up the main channel and keep it in the clear and keep your tactical channels encrypted doesn’t seem to be doing anything else but just keeping the public from knowing what’s going on and having for transparency with the San Jose Police Department

Regardless of what he was suspected of he didn't deserve this he should still be here. The police could have taken the lives of others in that complex. It seems so reckless this is sad my heart goes out to the family.
