Just bought and played SMLB last night with my lady friend who normally doesn't care for most games due to their complexity. We both enjoyed it quite a lot - and I'm the seasoned gamer who usually prefers crunchier games like Ark Nova. One thing I wanted to ask: Lightning bolts only affect the value of the flipped cards and not the value of number bonuses from Lucky Boxes, correct?

That’s how the rules are written but that’s one thing I did House rule because I feel like it’s more fun that way
