Thanks for your thoughts, a great listen! Getting fed up with tattooing hit home to me: before covid and with covid years, I tattooed every day and nights and weekends, ( government never closed shops in Finland) because I was afraid when the closing might happen. Working like that, not spending time with family and friends, had a loss in the family which suddenly made me slow down. That's when I felt that the work in mundane tattoos was pointless. Took a 5 month break and returned with new eyes, tattooing those mundane tattoos is hecking lot more fun than putting stuff to the shelves on grocerystore with mininum wage. I hope that the economy and ink-laws change enough that tattooing in Europe could get back to being fun again.. Anyway, thank you so much for the videos, have a great St Pattis day! ☘☘☘
Definitely interesting to hear your clients perspective on their tattoo journey. It would be great to hear how they decided on subject, colours etc since everyone is different
hi, I meant that I get that people want to do things to be part of the conversation, stay relevant, get attention etc... share their view points and ideas. Hope this helps!
A lot of tattooers are also slow because they have terrible habits and can't be professional for the lives of 'em. Years and years of showing up late to appointments, being unprepared, acting like a rockstar and overcharging will certainly catch up to ya. While I'm sure there are plenty of great tattooers out there who have experienced a slowdown due to the over saturation, I can't say I feel for any of the aforementioned others. Fuck 'em. Walmart is always hiring.
Fantastic idea with the clients perspective mate
Looking forward to seeing some client interviews, I feel it will really help people to invest in the whole process of getting a tattoo a lot more.

Only the strong dedicated will survive in this craft. Already seen a handful of tattooers quit that started during the Covid time.
What are your thoughts on tipping artists these days, should clients tip / how common do you get tipped ?
Thanks! When you say ‘i get it’ about people making podcasts, what do you mean?
