Song: "Where Have Those Days Gone"
Location: Aspen, CO - www.aspensnowmass.com/
Cracker co-founders David Lowery & Johnny Hickman got on the Aspen Gondola and recorded "Where Have Those Days Gone" in 1 take. As soon as we got on the gondola it was clear these guys were pros, and it comes across well in this dialed-in & laid back acoustic duet.
Band Members:
David Lowery (vocals, acoustic guitar)
Johnny Hickman (acoustic guitar, vocals)

Remember when David Lowery was the front man for Camper Van Beethoven and they were on IRS Records along with another up and coming band called REM. Love Cracker as much as Camper Van, and glad to see David is still making music. That voice of his, well it's unmistakable. Damn, I'm getting old....
Maybe the best song ever played. Certainly the best one ever played in a gondola.
Sweet. Two of the greatest people in music.
Best band ever! (Living.)
I’ve been a fan for 25 years, and I fell in love with their music all over again after seeing them in Toronto last night.
awesome to hear Doug, hope these videos are helping continue the love
No doubt the best band ever!
See em live everytime you can
Will always be my favorite band.
gondola rock 'n rolla at it's finest...
Beautiful! I've just discovered this group and this song is gorgeous. Thank you!
What a mellow tune...nice way to travel too....
Excellent, thank you!
I could play this over and over. Fucking great man!
The studio version of on Berkeley to Bakersfield soothes the soul. I also love the original harder rocking version on Greenland. Just a great song any way it's played.
The Gondola Sessions are epic!
This is pure gold.
lovely videowork and setting
Thanks Jamie, glad you enjoyed the view 🙂
Brilliant - great video and the camera work is phenomenal
Amazing! Greetings from Greece:)
Don't know how i got here, autoplay brought me here, but i love it
Great song and double album. Played this in 2015 at the Music Box in Cleveland.
sooo awesome!!!
Thank you 🙏
Thank you for playing this one in Cleveland at Music Box Supper Room in 2017 as an encore song David Lowery. I shouted the title out in the front row table.
Cool concept and good execution
Just saw these guys in Pagosa, fantastic!
F***ing Great!
This is a better song than when I first listened to it. Possible? And I don't look like Richard Greco, I look like Johnny Hickman. Pen trekers.
