I just understood something crucial via this video : we all need to slow down when walking into places we visit, then the experience is amazing we discover everything every situation
I remember wandering into this place by myself a while ago, went to an izakaya, smoked indoors, drank whiskey highballs and made friends with a very friendly Japanese couple before getting the last crowded train back to Shibuya. One thing that's key to remember before getting too drunk is the trains stop running at midnight 😂. Luckily the station is right across the street,
Very cool video, shows this place very well! 🤗 Other Japanese videsos just go through the lines, but don't show the point in such detail. Do you have a video of the Nonbei yokocho that shows it in detail? 🤔 BIG LIKE!
Its been over a decade since I was in Japan. I absolutely loved it there. Didn't speak a word of Japanese, but I had a pamphlet of basic phrases that I kept with me. I loved how happy people would get when they saw a giant foreigner like myself trying his hardest to communicate. Didn't meet a single person who wasn't super helpful when they saw me trying.
Good question haha Here’s the explanation: Piss Alley is named for its early years, when it was a shady destination for criminals to get their drink on. The place wasn't very built up back in those days, so instead of using a toilet, people just relieved themselves wherever they could.

What I got from it was that the guy filming was blocking the way too much
Man, some of these people just look so effortlessly cool. Japan really knows how to stay in style.
A very nice and smooth walk, through the noodle alleys ! 👍
Adding to my bucket list before I croak. So warm feeling id stay all night and mingle with the locals

Great video! Thank you for shooting this and uploading. Love the real-time natural voyeuristic style.
Thank you my friend, will continue to do this kind of videos 😃
この場所についてのとても素晴らしいルポルタージュだ。ありがとう!- お店も居心地良さそうだし、料理も美味しそう。ラーメンを食べてみたくなりました!\☺/
I will be there on October 11th 😁
Love it and I gotta go. May I use some of the sound for my video? X3
Drunk people are the friendliest. 😆

Good natured japanese drunks
Western drunks would be spoiling for a fight the moment they see you recording
From a place in South Carolina, I can say he is right on this
Kono basho Doko desuka
Shinjyuku Tokyo.
Omoide yokocyo.
