Isn't there any other way other than having to use Itunes? All my photos that I took using either the ipad or phone would also go to all 3, Ipad, Iphone and computer. All of a sudden, they stopped. I don't use Itunes, never have, wouldn't even know how to play music on it.

Because it doesent work with a HDMI cable bruh. HDMI is for video signals and USB to transfer data

It's a cable which came with my OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone
So you don’t actually need an apple iPad cord for it to sync, I can use any usbc to usb connector instead of buying those extra connectors? @alfve
