Retro Planet I remember in cars mater-national (2007) there were mini games where you had to collect those scream canisters as Mike and Sully Edit: you can see him in the first guido kart race
*_Cars 2_* is a damn good movie. It made Mater more relatable and feel like an actual character as opposed to being just the goofy sidekick. AND it did some amazing world-building, making the *_Cars_* world that much bigger by going around the world. *_Cars 3_* just stayed in the U.S. Mater actually did more shit in *_Cars 2_* than Boba Fett did in *_The Empire Strikes Back_* and *_Return of the Jedi_* combined. Also, there are a lot of movies people don't like, but 10-15 years later, we're not crying about it like some losers such as RedLetterMedia (or as Anomaly Inc and I call them, RetardedLogicMedia) did with the *_Star Wars_* prequels. And that hatred directed at George Lucas led to him selling Lucasfilm to Disney, and then we got the destruction of Lucas's Skywalker Saga in three garbage movies with declining box office returns. John Lasseter is the author of his Pixar movies, you are the reader. George Lucas is the author his SW movies, you are the reader. You don't get to dictate what the author should write with his story. You CAN apply this logic to the corporate dipshits at Kennedyfilm and Disney in regards to their abortion of a *_Star Wars_* trilogy as they bought the I.P. from George and told crappy stories off of his work. So criticize whatever you like, when it's a corporation with no clear roadmap, planning or respect for the I.P., not the original author/creator.
In conclusion, this game is great. It has a clear plot and great play style. The textures were all really well done, as well as the animation. The inconsistency from the movie is even better in this case because there were better characters. They should get acknowledged more often. The only glitches in this game are a few clipping issues they do not make your character go behind the graphics, there is some parts where your character may phase through the models. One point I saw Lightning clip through a traffic light, as if the model has no linear tangents. Another example is when you ran into stuff on the track, instead of actually looking like you hit it, it looks like clipping pretending to be rammed, but you still run them over. Those glitches are very minor and don’t ruin your overall gameplay experience. This game is fantastic. Solid! 👍

This game was great, but I played it on the Wii with my brother all the time, and honestly the bugs were really fun. There were parts where you would clip underground and stuff and we called them black holes lol. Great memories with this song. Also great music.

Has the car, once a lifeless consumer product, become so intelligent that it discovered how to turn its fellow cars into brainless robots? This is the equivalent of a human being who creates new humans who are just living zombies, as in machines made of meat. Big fan of the 1st movie and liked part 3. Also liked the 1st Cars video game more than well enough. But, I can't believe no one working on this game realized how hilariously dystopian this cutscene is.
I have this game on my XBOX 360 and this game is my favorite installment in the franchise. I love the graphics and music, customization, characters, intense rivalries, places to go, and I especially love the story telling and character development!

Notice that the different versions of McQueen not only sound different, but also perform differently. In the testing I did, I noted that McQueen's final form is the fastest around the track, mainly as a result of highest top speed, but also because the boost takes forever to deplete. However, the Santa Carburera version of McQueen is the 2nd best as a result of great speed capabilities and handling that is relatively easy to master. While the speedway version is faster, he's much harder to control at speed. If you have a friend to play with, you can put this testing to good use. I'll probably have a full testing video up soon, so keep an eye out for that. (Probably will come on this game's 10th anniversary)

On the mack track challenge I used to just do donuts in the middle of the track and I’d just get free points. The way the drift feature works is when you hold the drift button, it doesn’t stop counting points ever until either you release the button or you switch directions. So not only does it continue to rack up points even if u crash into a wall, you get drift points for spinning in mid air
Love how this game has the exact same radiator springs alout near enough of the cars video game, which was the one I played. Love both of these games, amazing soundtracks, free roam was so cool. Man I’m never selling the wii.
Ahhh yes, I remember playing this at my dad's on the PS2. Sadly the disc drive went bad on the PS2 and unknown if the console is even there or not. I unfortunately could not save the game at the time because the memory card was bad/corrupted.
