This topic has been traditionally overlooked by the church and I think it's a good thing for the body of Christ since there are believers suffering from mental illness
My son has been stigmatised by a church and a mental health social group. First of my son said hello to someone and within a few days we had visit from church officers to rebuke him. Then my son and I thought we'd have a short break and we were told in a roundabout way that we would not be welcome
But what about medications? I feel so much better on mine, depression, anxiety. I have so much joy in my life and in Jesus but sometimes I feel like I’m cheating. It doesn’t seem right somehow and it’s been a point of contention for a long time and even though I don’t feel conviction to do anything different, I still haven’t come to complete terms with it.

Good to see pastors encouraging mental health support!
Not the Church People I’ve been involved with. 3 John out of Context.
