    I think u getting tired in the fights isn't to do with fitness, it's because you keep throwing even when below 50% stamina. Try and only throw when above 50% and it will go down slower :)

      Hitting opponents in body shots reduces their stamina as well

      Yeah you just keep wasting your stamina by punching nothing. Timing is important. Also not blocking enough to counter with the punch combos.

    Helloo Josh, few tips
    1. If you don’t want to be easily taken down and you want to get up quickly there should be perks that will help you with it. Also try to work on your takedown defense and give some evolution points towards it.
    2. You keep throwing strikes and the opponent is intercepting you because you’re not in a correct range. For kicks to the body and leg kicks you need more distance, if you’re too close you will get intercepted and rocked easily.
    3. This game wants you to counter. The most dangerous strikes are the ones from countering your opponent, keep that in mind

    Few Tips
    1) You need to gauge your range better. This is a big reason as to why you're getting countered and taken down so often.
    2) You need to start using the jab more often to begin combos. That's literally the purpose of that punch. To set up everything else.
    3) Counter striking will do WAY more damage than normal, so try to counter more.

    Josh set up your overhands. If you throw them too much, your stamina will eventually go down and your opponent will read them. Add overhands after at the end of a combination for example. It would help a lot of you aim for the body and the head when doing combinations and not using the same combinations so that your opponent can't read you.
    Edit: Don't spam strikes. Your available stamina will go below 50% and if you continue to throw, your stamina will dwindle quicker. And don't be so quick to get up when taken down or else your transition will get denied as you will lose stamina unnecessarily (you will also lose a lot if your available stamina is below 50%). Either block your opponent's transition and get up or time it when your opponent is throwing strikes. I suggest you do the first one as it is much quiker and you will be draining the opponent's stamina, 2 birds 1 one stone.

    Not great at the game but a few things I see:
    1. Start combinations with smaller shots, throwing just an overhand or just an uppercut is kinda asking to get hit.
    2. Be more patient on the ground. Failed transitions tank your stamina, so be patient and look to defend against your opponents transitions.
    3. Give your stamina time to regen. Lower stamina makes shots slower, and taking damage is more risky.

    the opponents are so much bigger because jj’s weight for boxing fights is much higher than it would be as a ufc fighter because the ufc weight cuts are more severe. he’d likely be a 170 pounder as a ufc fighter

    Josh, try and learn combos, instead of just throwing random things. Jab hook, jab overhand, things of that nature. Oh and head movement is important as well. Try and learn to evade strikes and counter punch more often

    on the ground your best bet is to defend there transition first (R2/RB in the direction it says) then go to get up or move

    5 11 for middleweight would be peak. Should go to welterweight atleast

    don't try to land shots when your stamina isn t in the green. This is also when you are on the ground. You instantly want to get get up but you have to be patient and get your stamina back up. Then you go for "get up" not immediately after the take down. And also try to read the punches better and throw fakes to make the AI do something.

    You should stop backing up so much when you make ground or stun the opponent, if youre going to back up then the furthest you should go is just out of their kicking range and no further or youre giving them space and opportunity for them to counterattack and pressure you when you back up all the way into your corner

      also, when standing completely still your punches and kicks do significantly more damage and you combinations will be faster, thats why controlling the distance is so imporntant. You want to be just outside of his range so that when he throws you can counter while staying still and do more damage. For example if you have your opponent against the cage then don't move back and forth striking them, stand stationary in front of them and throw combinations. Obviously you still have to be careful but this will make your attacks a lot more effective. It also costs less stamina to strike while stationary. :)

    1.Duck and weave with right stick to counter
    2. Learn how to counter opponents moves on ground
    3. More body kicks in range as they lower ur opponents stamina
    4. Learn when to throw each strike e.g if opponent lunches to body or goes for a takedown and you uppercut you will stun them

    You should have really not skipped the training. You get up to 200 evolution points for completing prety easy sparring. And the actual fights are so easy you can level up alot of your moves in advance

    when they are hurt, spam the 1-2-hook combo, the 1-2 breaks their block and the hook lands everytime, use it when the opponent is hurt and you can finish them without taking too much risk. ALSO, this is very important, dont throw big shots over and over, throw a jab first then something big.

    Use the Jab to work your way in. Train wrestling and bjj. Easy Evo points and makes u much more confident if u get taken down

    The biggest problem with the AI in this game is at least in my career mode every fighter just runs away from you the whole match. I’m constantly playing chase. And if they manage to take you down forget it, you’re not getting back up until the end of the round if they’re even a little bit of a wrestler.

    I think you shouldve made him 170 or 155 because of the weight cutting in mma. In Boxing the weight cuts are much lesser

    Josh throw knees when you have them holding their head down the clinch and if straight punches are being blocked mix it up with hooks also set your shots up with the jab or theyll just get evaded

    When fighting people with reach advantage you need to stop engaging with your hooks. They will always be able to hit you before you’re in range. Wait for them to attack you and counter strike or use your block to get in range and jab to start combos.

    The best advice I can give, as you're so new to the game advice isn't going to help really play time will.. but stop spamming get up when you've been taken down, that's the easiest and quickest way to lose a fight in UFC, a few denials into a sub on this new UFC game and it's a wrap like Christmas! Take your time on the ground, remember to deny his transitions and then you can use that to getup.
    Also when striking don't continue throwing the one strike over and over again, for example in one of the fights you threw three body jabs, and kept stabbing it in the same motion and the AI just barely countered with an uppercut. Alternate your combos.

    1. You are a boxer!!!!! Throw more punches than kicks
    2. Throwing overhands drains more stamina than jabs, straight, uppercuts
    3. Try landing a jab or straight before using the overhands. This also drains the a.i's block bar which leads to more knockdown.

    Play on legendary it’s easy if you just cheese the ai with fakes on the first few fights you can just spam leg kicks to get easy 1st or 2nd rd wins. Try to dodge punches and then counter since that produces the most damage.also hold L2 to touch gloves in the start. When you are in transitions hold L2 and hold the right stick towards the direction the opponent is moving in. This is not a really good tip but when you are in Bottom half guard wait for your opponent to make a move then you can hold the right stick up to take his back and if that fails he will transition to side control and that’s all the advice I have I’m 7-1 in ufc 5 legendary career and I am NR in the lightweight division so I’m not really good at this game 😂

    You need to look at the weight limits.
    He might weigh 84kg in the game but most fighters will 84kg on weigh ins but are 90 on fight night, so you weigh the same in game but the fighters you are coming against are really fighters a weight class above you, so they are bigger people.

    You throw to many punches with low stamina in the fight when your stamina goes down let it come back... also pick your hooks overhands and head kicks if you miss or it's blocked they take more out of you
