is taking maths in your 11th and 12th classes compulsory for pursuing interior designing or even clearing the entrance for Pearl?
No only basic math is required
I really dont know what to do about my portfolio .I am interested in product and graphic design.
I used to collect stamps and coins when I was a kid .But that doesnt have anything to do with my current interests😶😶

Hey ..can u pls tell me the answers to my questions.. actually m a mbbs student currently..and m really interested in doing interior designing degree for my own interest..
1.is there some online course I can do and get authentic certificate?
2.what is the cost?
3.also can I get a part time projects after that because obviously I can't give it full time along with my medical practice

does the media courses not offer a degree? and also for courses like entertainment do we have to give a drawing portfolio and give the drawing/sketching exa you were talking about?
Hi! Your portfolio can be anything you want it to be, so even if it’s you behance profile you can present that. Doesn’t necessarily have to be drawing or sketches. Also none of the courses at Pearl are degrees they are all UG pathway courses :)

Does the fees includes the expense of going abroad in the 4th year?
No! There are 2 ways of that. One is an online course where the fees is the same and you get a degree from Torrens Australia. The other universities have their own fees for the 4th year

Hi! I think the placements are directly linked with your final portfolio and skill set. Pearl does offer good exposure, but the placements depend entirely on your personal skill set and work.

Can you elaborate diploma courses a bit more ? I was planning to do the interior designing diploma. But I'm not sure if it's really worth it or if it'll help me in future
Hi! So it’s like any other college course, they teach you what any other college teaching interiors would. The only thing is you wouldn’t be getting a degree, which I understand is a drawback for many. They do have options of a 4th year international transfer or you can do a open school degree alongside. But if you want a B.des or a BA.hons then maybe this isn’t for you

Hi! Nahi I didn’t get into Nift. It depends aap konse course pe focus karrhe hai. Dono colleges have their own strengths and whether you want a govt college or private
Being alumni of both I say say that go for nift. It makes no sense to pay so huge fees that also from non recognised institution. BTW pay scale of the industry is also quite bad and this pandamic situation also dent the industry a lot. Majorly moto should be learning the skills, which more or less both the institution is at par.

Hi! Glad it helped you out, the portfolio has to be a collection of your work, you can make it anything. It can be a behance profile, it can be a printed tabloid, it can be a booklet, it can be your sketches in a portfolio art file, it can be anything you want it to be. So you it can be handmade or printed :)

Help me out someone. I'm convinced that pearl is a good choice for me. But I'm interested in interactial design (UXUI design) I checked the college brochure. They have mentioned the course, but I want to know if someone had opted for it and how it went for them. There’s no set limit of pages and size. Mine was A5 and about 35-40 pages. Yours can be any size and any amount of pages!

Hi! Pearl offers UG pathway courses and NOT a degree. However there are correspondence courses that you can do, like IGNOU & SOL.
Along with that you can go for the 4th year change where you can take a transfer to one of the universities Pearl is affiliated with.
