After finding out more about what I like I sold it off and got Acqua Dell'Elba Classica Uomo EDP which was much more what I wanted from a summer easy perfume; delicious citrus, coastal sea air, and aromatic coastal greens with a light musky drydown. It really taught me to doubt hype

You don't know what you're talking about. This is the most sexy compliment getter of all time! Lol. I actually did scoop this up in 2018, and my beginner nose really did like it. Smells quite synthetic nowadays and collects dust. But hell, it was a part of my journey so I can't hate it too much

I think it's fine, but if I'm reaching for a summer fragrance, I'm going for VIW or Menthe Fraiche. However, based on reviews, Light Blue Forever looks pretty decent.
You should try the pour femme version. I got that for my mom and it smells so good. So much better than this. Also an aquatic but more soapy and musky. I love it
I’m fortunate not to have been introduced to this line through the hype train, instead through my own research without internet influence at the Macys counter. The OG D&G Light Blue will always have a soft spot in my heart even if it’s a more basic offering (one of the rare aquatics that I enjoyed). Eau Intense has a similar spot - too many fun scent memories (and discounters practically give this away now).

My ex thought Fahrenheit smelled sexy, she always liked stronger more complex fragrances, so sexy is very subjective. I remember trying this one, didn't like it, never understood the hype, if you let me choose I will wear Polo blue, I'm also not an aquatic guy so nothing interesting for me here. It’s slightly less than aight. This fragrance has a weird interpretation of aquatic. It’s like a mix of traces of toothpaste after you gargled with water and the smell of a freshly drained pool. If I wanted a jolly “blue” aquatic I’d go for nautica voyage on the cheaper side and jacques fath’s Curaçao bay on the mid-range price. Something about the fath one just makes me feel jolly idk
What does one look for if uninterested in aquatic or marine scents? The marine scents make me nauseous, and the aquatics just do nothing for me. Everything recommended for hot and humid weather (Houston) is along these lines, and I haven't liked anything even a little bit so far. Hoping an incoming Mugler Cologne sample makes me happy. Heard about your channel from a Fragrantica forum thread and that you have a no-nonsense, honest approach. Looking forward to seeing if your videos and my continued research uncover some options that will work! Great video here!
i have eau intense womens version on my dresser and alot lighter than the mens... its perfect for summer, i like the womens eau intense which can be unisex
Had to get away from Light Blue OG for a year of two then I craved it again. Waiting for the hight heat to rock it. Oh by the way my old azz OG is strong as f*ck now
I got this, the original as well as Forever and Italian Love and possibly this is my least fave. Sample before purchasing, don’t believe the hype. Good review. Nice frag but nothing groundbreaking.

I bought Light Blue bc of all the hype & was disappointed. Bought the Intense version after more hype thinking I’d catch on & was disappointed yet again. I just don’t care for the scent.
I'm sure some of it is real but on the tube i've noticed reviewers just follow trends and less about personal taste so once it's hyped, it's just rinse and repeat on different channels.

They need to go back to 2010 to 20 14 and see some 20 and 30 bottle hauls that were paid for not gifted by companies. I remembered when all of us were wondering what you did for a living. You might have to do a little flex and show them some old footage in short videos. A big collection is nothing these days when you're gifted bottles. It's an entirely different animal when you have to summit your own card
Huge hype train, regret buying this. Very synthetic and just simply not that good. I have got a look wearing this before in the gym but everyone in there stinks so you could get a look with axe body spray. 3/10
