    I love how this guy is telling us the proper ways with a rottweiler and yet he has him/her tied up to a pole 90% of the video.

    • @peaceking1767
      @peaceking1767 7 лет назад +7

      That's fine as long as he isn't tied there the whole day and one of the main reasons there are alot of attacks of dominant breeds are because we are too soft with them and treat them like babies you have to be firm and the dog should be kept as a dog.

    • @martinvanharmelen4287
      @martinvanharmelen4287 7 лет назад +17

      pls explain to me the corraltion between being soft and not having your dog on a chain constantly? My dogs are always free (3 rotties) and they damn good know who's the boss. All 3 of them listen perfect,.. without the use of chains, or having to hit them! In other words,... letting them enjoy some freedom does NOT mean per definition a to soft way of working!!

    You can train them to be friendly it wont destroy their guarding they have a natural instinct to protect and it comes out if a person means you harm they can know we had one for thirteen and a half yrs a beautiful dog we miss him every day he got bone cancer

    "Once he gets older and you no longer want him in your bed..." that never happened with either of my two rotties, although I didn't let them on the bed until they were a bit older and I'd already established some pack hierarchy over them. Blitz was a bed hog, if I wasn't careful he'd be sprawled diagonally across the bed and I'd have a small corner. Otto would come up on the bed but really loved to sleep on the floor, not even in a dog bed. On hot nights he'd lay at the bottom of my jacuzzi tub.

      Lk Wong im more than a dog lover, im a trainer, advocate and volunteer. i own 3 rottweilers, a gsd and 2 apbt. you have no clue what uou ate talking about so shut up and enjoy the movie. ive had to adopt and rescue more dogs from "loving homes" because the dog has gotten rowdy, loud, supposedly aggressive and obnoxious,but you know its not the dogs fault its people like your fault. you never taught your dog that its your world and in order for them to survive they have to follow societies rules. instead you treat it like a human with no guidance and then give it up for adoption because they have bad genes or temperament. shut up and unplug your keyboard.

      What does Bastet mean?
      Bastet was a goddess in ancient Egyptian religion, worshiped as early as the Second Dynasty (2890 BC). As Bast, she was the goddess of warfare in Lower Egypt, the Nile River delta region, before the unification of the cultures of ancient Egypt. Her name is also spelled Baast, Ubaste, and Baset.

      Just remember Rotties LOVE tough love and someone who's strong and shows them they are the boss. I've seen soo many woman who tried to own rotties BUT because they was to soft and let the rottie get away with everything the rottie no longer respected the owner. So just be strong. Almost like a child. When he does something wrong you punish them. To many dog owners feel bad punishing there dog and punish there kids more then the dog lol.

      jaz jazi if so then in india visits from family and friends are very common. so the dog has to be trained to be friendly with all.

    • @chibisingh2726
      @chibisingh2726 7 лет назад +3

      jaz jazi this is not true you are trying to train a dog to be aggresive through fear and unknowning, this dog is very intelligent and with
      proper training will easily identify and target a threat. its best your dog is very well socialized so it has a good understanding of the vibes from strangers that are okay versus threats. A dog should learn its enviromental cues from the handler.

    • @chibisingh2726
      @chibisingh2726 7 лет назад +1

    • @alyantillon2253
      @alyantillon2253 7 лет назад

      TheMattd546 I would want a Rottweiler as a guard dog and it is not wrong because what if someone is trying to kill you and you trained your rott to be good and friendly with strangers who's going to protect you from getting killed. Something the armey uses rotts for guarding

    • @chanellovvesyou
      @chanellovvesyou 7 лет назад

      Aly Antillon You're better off with a Rottweiler that makes decisions because he k owns who's a threat and who's not. As opposed to not knowing who is a threat and acting aggressively out of fear and unsuredness. If he's friendly, you can do whatever you want around whoever you want until someone tries to harm you or trespasses and then your Rottweiler will know they are bad.

    Not a video of 3 odd minutes going to help. It takes quite a lot. For some it is minimum 6 months and for some years. One must understand all children don't give results same way like that all pups don't learn in equal time. Regarding Rotweillers it's not easy going. Require a lot to know about temperament.

      Rottweilers can be very aggresive dogs. If not trained correctly they can harm you and also others in a fraction of seconds. It takes 0.27 seconds for that beast to kill a living being. Hence, the more you socialize others with them the more less scary they get.

    • @rafiarahman2093
      @rafiarahman2093 6 лет назад

      And if burglars get in,The rotti doean't even need to attack the thief, the thief will already make a run for his life by seeing its huge size. Gsd and rotti are mostly likely have the same nature, and believe me, my brother had two gsds, and, one day, 1 Gsd who got in a fight with another gsd and when my brother tried to stop them, one of them actually took off his ring finger. So, the more u socialize them to others the more less scary they get.

    • @rafiarahman2093
      @rafiarahman2093 6 лет назад

      And also when it comes to protect - it's in their nature and they know when you protect its owner. And not socializing means to make it more aggresive not to make it more cautious.
