Hi Dakota! I'm so sorry for not seeing your comment before. The answer is no! The fly does not spin in the water, it looks beautiful when it is in the water :) :)
@ :59 I can here all the stuck-up tiers in the UK and US saying "OMG,that isn't how you add dubbing, there's no dubbing loop.....WHERE's HIS DUBBING LOOP...OMG!!!"........LOL
Hi Arvydas! I'm sorry for my late reply, not sure if you still want/need it but here goes.... When using a tube fly, it is very easy to change the hook after where you are fishing but easy to use the same fly. The line goes through the tube and then I add the hook at the end. I look the hook in the end of the tube. In this post: instagram.com/p/B5Vx2uAhVXP/ you can see how it looks but note that the silicon tube is way longer than I use for Atlantic Salmon.
Great job. I am working on some flies for early brights in Canada. Your instruction will help greatly. Thanks, William

Nice fly! But doesn't a pattern like that throw the fly off balance causing it to spin in the water ?
