Thats not even balance, instead they just changed her. For the better idk, because like now you need to buffer out what skills you want to be empowered even more, and she suffers because of it. Dont get me wrong her ult is pretty cool i guess, but like her cds are longer now, and she can still aoe shield, it actually weirdly spreads i think too. Like if someone has mantra shield on it spreads to allies near by if they run to them in time * i think*.
@@_goodmeasure after like 10 or so games in ranked (diamond 2) with karma i can say that using different combos to have synergy with the passive refresh the ult gives allows her to have plenty of utility among various situations. Running away? Empowered W followed by ult then empowered Q. Already grouped enemies? Empowered Q -> Ult then empowered W or E etc etc.
Though Support champions are very cool and glad we have more, I feel like we need more Junglers, unique ones to be specific like Fiddle or Kindred, so we can have more diverse ways to jungle because jungling is quite bland currently
As a support main champion pool for support is overloaded already with ratio to overall wild rift champs of course. We need marksmen cause theres only 15 more or less then junglers. I really hope for kindred and elise

I consider her PC ult a bit better but it would be very unbalanced for mobile gameplay since people can just abuse the Ult's ability to make a machine gun skillshot especially with the Awakened Soulstealer. I am quite sure the only reason they actually decided to revamp her Passive and Ult is solely because of the presence of the Awakened Soulstealer
As a Karma support main who became a karma main after all my old mains got reworked, and I think I can live with this (assuming these changes move to PC, which we are pretty certain will happen) Her first few levels are going to be a bit weaker without having her ult or the ability to charge mantra with autos, and she won't be as safe against assassins with the w heal removed. She also loses her ability to speed up multiple allies, as well as some reduced flexibility with when she can use mantra, but to make up for it, she is receiving more cc. As long as I can continue to play her aggressively I'll be happy, but it looks like she's shifting slightly away from being a lane bully, into a bit more of an engage support. I'm happy that her skill ceiling is going up, and hopefully this pushes her away from toplane enough that they can be more liberal with buffing her in the future. edit: She will also likely be losing some damage in teamfights, considering you can't reset mantra with just one or two abilities anymore. But her teamfight is probably still going to be stronger due to having a proper ult.

The W change is massive. It would rarely get Mantra’d. The Wild Rift kit is much more satisfying than the PC version. More interaction since you can’t auto-win for LV2 with Mantra’d Focus Blast.

The only build that works on Karma is cooldown reduction but the problem with Wild Rift is that it doesn’t have a lot of ability haste items therefore karma can’t do much as compared to Soraka who has literally 1second cooldown they should’ve kept Karma as the LOL version

I'm sure that one of the reason why riot decides to revamp Karma to change her passive and Ult is because of the fact that Having a Skillshot machine gun is a very real threat in the Mobile version of the game.... Her new ult is basically the same as Orianna's but with wider radius, less damage output and weaker pull toward the center.
it also slow the enemy. this is kinda perfect for her mantrad 1st for its delay explosion

Karma is a battlemage, just like lux and seraphine. With her new ult and adjusted passive, she isn’t a classical support mage anymore like in pc
