I agree with you on Target - we need to stand up for our beliefs. and for our children. Forcing this on our kids is wrong. I fast 19/hours - from 6pm to 1pm the next day and I've lost close to 30 pounds and feel awesome. I will always eat like this. I'm at my goal weight and now one day on the weekend I eat normally. I drink cinnamon tea and water during my fasting hours which has helped with my blood sugars. My cholesterol is normal for the first time in years - my dr even was impressed because I refused to go on a statin and did it my way.

I love love my crockpot too and can’t wait to start using it again!! Also the fasting you do .. since Jan my hubby and I have been watching docter videos on gut health, diabetes and losing weight.. we have gone vegetarian for the most part ( vegan when home not travelling) and he always does 1x per week a 48/72 hour fast .. it has helped him so much and he is over 70lbs lost since Jan .. what was funny is we started this and low and behold he had a heart attack in June we didn’t know he was going to have .. but already we started down the right track already .. glad you hired some help for yourself so you get time yourself too !! You should lightly sauté the veggies first to get them semi-soft that way you don't further overcook the chicken. Add the chicken in once the broth is reduced and veggies are 1/2 way cooked - this way the chicken remains moist and not cooked within an inch of its life.
