Yes, wonderful! I would love for more students to know about color mixing. I started with only 9 pigments. Only one of them Paynes Gray being the only one that's not a single pigment. I have a lot of watercolor paint that I love playing with but every serious painting has my selected few cannot live without pigments. Mixing colors is very fun and addictive!

I have never used Payne’s Gray but hear people talk about it all the time! You may have just added something to my wish list, hah

@@katrinacrouch It's fully understandable that you can't do it each time! No worries. Just thought to share my enthusiasm with you.
What was really helpful was watching the color mixing as it developed. To hear it is one thing, to see the colors and their harmonies emerge, to watch the adjustments, something becomes tangible and I appreciated that very much. Thank you again.

This is very helpful; I always wondered what desaturate means in reference to watercolor. This was very helpful. I also appreciated your showing us how to look for the different colors in subjects. My challenge is knowing if they're cool or warm. Yes to more videos like this one. :)
