Don't Call Me Bigfoot - Full Documentary featuring Mattsquatch | 4K
There are tales all around the world of big, hairy, bipedal, ape-like creatures that dwell in the wilderness and leave footprints. But whatever you do, don't call them Bigfoot. From the Patterson - Gimlin film and other sightings to known hoaxes and Bigfoot hunters, this documentary delves deep into the mythology, sightings and people who search out these mysterious beings.
This documentary is a great introduction into cryptozoology, the people who study it and why. Just don't call them bigfoot. Maybe Sasquatch, yeti or Bob, but not Bigfoot.

If I were in Bigfoot country, I'd make friends with him, then teach him how to drive a Dodge Charger and let him do his own driving. Can you imagine a trooper pulling him over in the middle of nowhere and nothing but woods??? 9mm do not affect Bigfoot.

Yeah they all write books about the same shit u hear on these podcast, it's a real money maker. In fact that one fat dude on Finding Bigfoot, his last name is Money Maker what's that tell you. And by the way Sieara Sounds r Ravens theirs a lady in Britain raise Ravens n is on U Tube n the bird made those exact same sounds. The Pacific Northwest is loaded with Ravens. I think the narrator would qualify for a Bigfeet, I mean look at that head. Now he says he won't shoot one but that's the only way to prove it, I know if I see one I'm shooting it n as many as I can.

Interesting documentary. Thanks for posting. I am relatively new to this, and I think some ideas have sort of evolved in a sense, within some groups of people, who believe in this. Mattsquatch seems quite knowledgeable. I don't know if I agree with the idea of 'bring bear spray, a gun etc., and you're at least prepared', as after a while, you do hear stories, like how that one snapped the lion's back over it's head, and you realize how capable they are, and how little even a firearm would do, nor approaching this as you would a bear etc. For instance, the story that Mattsquatch told, about the rock being tossed, then being sort of escorted out of the woods.,.indicates intelligence...like so many other reports. I enjoyed how we was able to be quite neutral, and objective, in sort of tying all sorts of different thoughts around the subject...sort of naming them off, without really supporting, or dismissing any of them. Fascinating subject!

The Himalayan story about the Bigfoot snapping the tigers back over it’s knee. Going by the stories that come from that region, they say the “animal” that there is quite a lot smaller than the North American bigfoot, so I’m thinking the one from the Nepal area probably wouldn’t be big enough or even strong enough to do that to a bengal tiger. I find that story a bit naff for that reason.

Good doc, remember, many animals that are extremely similar have different names geographically, case in point, the cougar, puma and mountain lion, basically the same creature DNA speaking, but have evolved slightly different for the environment in which they live and hunt. Hence the different names for a big hairy man, personally I think Big Foot is a better name for it than say 'Big Dick"...I am sure both are true, one just sounds better....hehehehe

If they're not natural, then what are they?
Perhaps the characteristics you're referring to ARE natural.
Just because we don't understand or can't explain something & the occurrence of witnessing it is so rare that people forget/don't believe it occurs at all, we aren't able to control it, &/or we can't do what something else can, doesn't necessarily make it "unnatural".
If any species isn't natural, it's our own.
And I can think of multiple reasons why- including but not limited to our inability to maintain a balanced & cyclical (aka sustainable) relationship with the natural systems, species, materials, & phenomena that support our survival on this planet.

I do not for a moment believe there is any kind of unknown hominid living in the world. We would have found one by now, at least caught on video. But this was a pretty level headed discussion where the guys were not the typical batshit crazy howl in the woods types. They were a little selective in their evidence, but I think you kinda have to be to do this kind of thing. And to be fair, as a scientist I know you usually are biased towards your own field and tend to have positive biases there too. Worth a watch.
However that one guy who cannot say species and seems to think that this word is plural and specie is singular form of species (it is not, specie refers to coins). He drives me mad every time he mispronounces the goddam word!!
