hey I really enjoy all of the content you upload. I love bass fishing and have been conventional fishing for years, but a while back I picked up a Huddleston and threw it around for a while on totally wrong gear, and id love to become more of a swimbait fisherman, and these visors seriously help a ton.
AVeryKindSoul glad my vids are helping man. Thanks for watching and biggest thing out there is don't Get discouraged. You gotta just keep throwing em and you'll be rewarded and it'll all click one day. Proper gear is a must for trouble and headache free days with the bigger baits. 👍🏼
Thank you for being the first i could find with a real review on this reel...i plan on getting this with the muse heavy action rod..it will be my first baitcaster too lmao
Rad! I work at Turner's and we just got 13 fishing's reels and rods in stock. Their Rep is actually coming to our store next week too give us tackle department guys a seminar, stoked and looking forward to it. well done video and useful review. Thanks!
yeah it was a hard day. just couldnt figure them out. i was marking them everywhere but couldnt get any to bite or even follow anything i offered. the floor of my boat looked like a tackle shop from the million different lures i tried throughout the day.
@@onamissionfishin for a solid 2 years it was amazing, but unfortunately it started the dreaded drag button problems like almost all big diawa wheels, my wife had the same problem, switched to the diawa zillion HD and has been buttery smooth and no more button/drag problems for the past 2 years.
is it plastic where it attaches to the rid?? I have a 13 fishing reel n its plastic where it attaches and I've noticed extreme amounts of play as opposed to a metal reel seat
Major League Bassing Can't go wrong with Mattlures Ultimate Bluegills. Although I've had success on ponds with trout-type swimbaits even when they don't have trout.
I'm thinking about getting this reel or the lexa to fish mangrove snapper in the gulf of mexico. I wounder how this reel will hold up. with 30lb of drag I figure it should haul them out of the oil rigs in the gulf. what do you think would be a better choice. thanks enjoy ur video by the way.
James I just wanted to say thanks man! I watch all of your videos and they are great! I’ve fished with a spinning reel all of my life and just recently switched up to a baitcaster and now thanks to you I’m throwing swimbaits and just caught my first double digit striper, 10.9lbs. Now I have to upgrade my rods and reels and I really like 13 fishing rods and reels you demoed. I was thinking the 13 Fishing Muse 7'9" Heavy with the Concept "A” or the Concept A3 reel and if the Christmas bonus is good maybe the 13 Fishing Muse 8' Heavy with the concept A3. Any advice for a combo would be much appreciated!
R L hey man just saw this sorry! All depends on the baits you're throwing. The 7'9" 2-4oz has been my daily go to rod here lately. And the 4-8 is just as good. It throws exactly what it states it does and hasn't had any issues this far
Jose Martinez i have the tatula hd 200hsl by far my favorite reel out there for smaller glides up to around 5oz. But this A3 is right next to it in line
I asked about this reel at SU, some of the guys told me you were working on a review of it. Where are these reels made? Good review, thanks. Did you get in that trip to the delta with Matt?
Tucowept the trip to the delta has been pushed to after the 1st of the year due to finances and having to figure out how to get across country in December. Just talked with Matt last week about it.
Hi, i know your probably gonna recomend this reel but thought id ask. i got a irod baiely rated 3-10oz . i want to throw baits in that range. whats the best bet?
Niko Brown it’s actually chemical free. It’s a urban lake and just has a crazy color. The filter on my camera also intensifies the greenish blue hue. It’s not that saturated looking in real life.
I need a multipurpose reel and with the power handle 6.3 gear ratio and it having over sized gear could it be used on smaller bucktails for musky and then I could also use it with swimbaits or should I get something else
looking for a good all around swimbait rod. Plan on throwing hudds,i slides, s wavers and Duo Realis Onimasu. Any ideas of what specs would you would use for those baits. Thanks
Been looking at the Dobyns Fury 7'9" medium heavy 1-5 oz and the IROD Genesis II Cast Rod 7'8" Jr. Swimbait Med Hvy 1-4oz. Im just looking for a lighter stick because i am jist getting into the swimbait game. Would you suggest either one of those rods?
hpsfishing my biggest piece of advice is plan ahead for bigger baits. Cuz if you enjoy throwing swimbaits the Rod you buy now for smaller stuff you will quickly out grow. I almost always suggest stepping one power or oz range up for the future. An you can't go wrong with a dobyns. The 13 muse black 7'9 is comparable to the fury but has a better back bone and is hvy instead of med/hvy. And insanely light. Like traditional bass gear light.
hpsfishing glad I can help man. Word to the wise when buying a dobyns. While they are amazing rods, They over rate like crazy oz wise. So that 795 is good for around 1-3'ish oz comfortably. Just a heads up. Good luck out there man and thanks for watching.
Dope video! Just gained a sub. Thinking about grabbing this reel for my swimbait setup, but saw that it was advertised on TWH to come with a single-knob handle that I'd prefer, was wondering if yours came stock with the double or if you switched it out?
to be honest im not really sure but ill email them and ask. i just witnessed them tell a dude to send back a pile of omen black rods that he had broken. he was complaining on a thread about this reel and someone from 13 saw it and told him they'd take care of him and it was resolved. also first round of rods i got from them, i had 1 defective/blemished rod out of the 6 sample rods they sent and i let them know and before i could even send it back i had a new one at my doorstep that week. so im assuming its a pretty decent warranty policy.
Hello. I didn't see the profile of the reel ON the rod. It looks like a beefy reel I just want to make sure it has a low profile before purchasing one. I'm a shimano man for life but I'm looking into supporting home made products. I just want to make sure it sits low on the reel seat. Otherwise it will be uncomfortable to throw baits all dang day. Holler!
MISTER KLIENFELD There's multiple shots of it on the reel 1:30 - 1:41 has close ups. And I'm the beginning after I catch the first fish I also show it on the rod
Swimbait Chronicles Have you tried it with the power handle at all? I finally ordered one yesterday and am considering using it that way. Do you think it would work or is the reg handle better?
Джеймс доброй ночи посмотрел Ваше видео отличный обзор,скажите какие веса приманок можно использовать данной катушкой напишите верхний и нижний тест приманок в граммах.спасибо!)

They had apparently fixed the problem but maybe it's messed up again.

Looks like your fishing the flats of the Bahamas. Water is so blue!! I’m used to the black water here in FLA
I want one! I hope they come out with a 400 size for saltwater too
this guy is honest about the fish weights
I have been waiting on a new video forever!!! I was dying with out you vids man. Well worth the wait nice video man!
haha thanks for always tuning in man. the uploads are gonna get more frequent here soon
Sweet video...What happened to this guy??
Good to see another left hand retrieve fisherman

Quality video dude!! Keep em coming.

its becoming over fished. such a bummer but once spawning season comes it will probably be a lot better
The curado has that feature of the door
I like this Guy he is. Sincere. And Good fisherman.
Dude that water is sick looking!.....you got me wanting to film all Dslr lol....guess I gotta grab that extended battery
BeyondTheBounds the battery grip is a life saver. Bulky but worth it. And yeah the water isn't as crazy in person lol a lot of that is my polarizer
I switched to the diawa lexa then the shimano tranx now I’m in love with the diawa tatula 300 my god a great reel
How’s that thing holding up? I have a lexa HD but she’s a bit heavy
@@onamissionfishin for a solid 2 years it was amazing, but unfortunately it started the dreaded drag button problems like almost all big diawa wheels, my wife had the same problem, switched to the diawa zillion HD and has been buttery smooth and no more button/drag problems for the past 2 years.
been curious about 13 fishings stuff....
I know you like the 8.1 ratio do you recommend the high ratio for everyone using swimbaits?
No. They are too fast for "everyone" 6.0 or lower.
is it plastic where it attaches to the rid?? I have a 13 fishing reel n its plastic where it attaches and I've noticed extreme amounts of play as opposed to a metal reel seat
Excellent video 👍
Where is this pond
That water is crystal clear... Not like my dirty-stained water, here... Beautiful fishing environment that you have, there.
Right on they seem like a pretty standup company I was just curious because I couldn't find anything in writing
sweet video! Castability bro? can you launch baits with that thing?
Love the Videos. What swimbait would you throw in a lake/pond where the bass mainly feed on sunfish?
Major League Bassing Can't go wrong with Mattlures Ultimate Bluegills. Although I've had success on ponds with trout-type swimbaits even when they don't have trout.
Thanks bro by the way I like your videos keep up the good work

it's been over a month, how's the reel holding up? also what material is the worm gear made of?

El Presidente they were supposed to be out Nov 1st. Not sure if tackle warehouse has them yet or if they are held up
hello... im looking forward to buy this reel... i heard some people say that 13fishing reel paint does not stand saltwater fishing... is it true?
firdaus jamhari no. I use them in salt water all the time. No issues.

A little high on the price i think. Should be priced at around $199.99
Dope video! Just gained a sub. Thinking about grabbing this reel for my swimbait setup, but saw that it was advertised on TWH to come with a single-knob handle that I'd prefer, was wondering if yours came stock with the double or if you switched it out?
Christian Park double
Were you using the 6.3:1 or the 8.1:1
what is the best cheap swim bait reel because I would like to start swim bait fishing some more but all of the reels I have found r like $180+
Mean Fish TV a new or used lexa 300 is prorbably best bang for buck. Around 1-140$ off of eBay/Amazon/ or one of the forums or Facebook groups.
+Swimbait Chronicles thanks man I just bought 2 new swim sits but I've been throwing them on a froging stick because I don't have a swimbait one yet
I'm unsure about cork for a reel handle, when I am so use to rubber, a dense eva foam.
and*
M40_Kid the cork is pretty hard and dense feeling. Not soft and mushy by any means. It's really comfortable so far. We will see how it ages and wears
+Swimbait Chronicles I would put cork sealer on it, to slow down the aging, but that comes from the fly fisher in me.
M40_Kid that's a really good idea! Hadn't thought of that. Does is make it slippery? Or slick? I really like the textured feel of them so far
+Swimbait Chronicles not that I can tell especially as that appears to be burled cork it shouldn't
Do you still like this reel?
What do u use to edit vids
When is it gonna be available
Because I have had the concept A fishing reel and I love it and I've been in the market for a new swimbait reel.
Alex Nicholson tackle warehouse is saying they will be in stock on the 11yh
Hey man can you give me any information on 13 fishings warranty policy, I can't find anything online

Dr. Fishing hopefully in a good way?

@@jackofalltrades5904 didn't get it lol
How does this compare with the Lexa 300...
FacePlantAirsoft i talk about that in the vid.
whats the size on that reel? how many pounds drag?
Francisco Illingworth both said in the video
they dont have a specific size listed with the reel on the site, but it will hold 190 yds of 20lb fluoro and it has 30lb max drag
Swimbait Chronicles not bad for the price at all.. nice product review bro
