@@infern1491 Tool Assisted Speedrun. It is made by slowing the game down to a crawl, move frame by frame, use of savestates, all to make perfect inputs, and luck manipulation, making basically a perfect run that is inhumanly possible to achieve.
I'm so surprised, i didn't know you could do all this combos in DOA 1, guess I'll have to try it now!
Well, that's becaue you actually can't. TAS is enabling this insanely specific combos. The first DOA game aged horribly and you need quite the finger twist to get a hold of it

Team Ninja have always been good with graphics. I can't believe they were able to get this much out of a Saturn! It looks way better than the VFs on Saturn
Li1190 The Saturn is more powerful than most would believe, it was just hard for most 3rd party developers and even first party ones to get a grasp on the hardware, that's why the launch titles on Saturn weren't so great, but if developers were given better tools to work with then it might have been a different story, not to mention the failure of 32X....
@@dandrawsit4915 Also the Saturn is notoriously known for its its poor 3D capacities, in fact, it's actually worse the the PS1 when it comes to 3D graphics (however, the Saturn is much better than the PS1 in 2D games despite the ridiculously hard hardware, hence why there's more 2D games on Saturn than on PS1, especially in Japan).

Nice run. What does "TAS" stand for? Time Attack Standard?
TheKingOfRuckus It means Tool Assisted Speedrun which means they are using emulation to simulate a perfect run ,which would not be allowed in a actual run of this game. But I am no expert it is just what I was told.

TheKingOfRuckus Your welcome but regardless I am not the hugest fan of TAS runs I prefer actual runs. This is okay as Kasumi is my fav Dead Or Alive Female character. Hyabusa is my favourite male Dead Or alive character.
