Cool to see this! In 1997 I had a brand new 97 Cobra! It was crazy to have 305hp on tap back in 97😀 First mods I took the car to a local race shop who built road/ track cars SCCA. He put lowering springs in and weld in frame connectors. Was amazing how nice it handled. Then a Pro 5.0 shifter to shorten the shift throw. And of course new mufflers. In two years my front seats had completely cracked - leather looked horrible. To my surprise Ford replaced them😀 After 5 years of owning I sold the car to buy a 67 Mustang GT Fastback. I do miss that Cobra. Was a fun car. I like your channel and follow your Vette videos as I bought a 95 last winter. Cheers!
One thought just to throw out there, i had a similar lean issue with the codes on my 95 gt with 160k mikes. Turned out it was a weak fuel pump paired with perishing intake manifold gaskets.
Thanks for mentioning that. I’ve done a fuel pressure test and the fuel pressure at the rail was perfect. The injectors could be an issue though or, as you said, any number of gaskets. I’ve been trying to figure this out for a couple of months now and am getting frustrated.🤬😉
Enjoy your videos. I had a similar Camaro which drew me in, and had friends with similar Stangs. Love the Vette too.. It's refreshing to see these cars. Oh and I agree with the pants analogy lol. After you said that I was thinking the same about floor mats and then you changed them 👍

Great video man!! It’s all the little things that really clean up a car! Cobra lookin beautiful again!
Thanks man.👊
I like the contrast of the black floor mats against the tan interior. Any thoughts to replacing the pedal covers or upgrading to the aluminum pedals?
Yes, I definitely need to replace the pedal covers. I’ll probably just use black ones.
I just bought a 1996 mustang SVT cobra convertible with 27,000 original miles
Got yourself a new subscriber bro love your videos bro keep it up

Try replacing the alternator, upgrade to a better one, sometimes that’s tha problem
Check your fuel pump I had a faulty pump it wasn't working properly it would dip to low at start up but at idle and revs it would work fine
