This little beauty has nerves of steel. The confused guy that wandered onto the stage would have done it for me. Instead she did not miss a beat. Even at that age she never lost sight of the demand that the show must go on. Kudos to Sara for stepping up and dealing with the failed security.
I've been following her all over RUclips and can't get enough, I'm completely mesmerized. It just boggles the mind that a child could be that talented and possibly be the greatest singer of my lifetime
I've watched a ton of Angelina reaction videos and I'm now watching rehersals, concerts in less than ideal venues or acoustic s, distractions, lousy mixing, rude people, and grueling travel all over the world. It's starting to dawn on me that regardless of her phenomenal talent, this little girl is highly disciplined and has worked her tail off for many many years to get where she is. Love her to death!

When the old man got up onstage toward Angelina was probably the inspiration for Shield. Jazz is the most difficult to time because of different bands coloring the same song differently. She is a true pro at even this age and so beyond her years books should be written about our barefoot princess and her heart of gold.

What a nice registration of this early performance. I came across Angelina just a few weeks ago and.... as every other one I am completely surprised and impressed. When I saw that older person climbing on the stage I was worried that Angelina would be so distracted/frightened that she could not sing any further at that moment (I guess no one would have blamed her for that), but what a pro she was already: refocus and carry on. Well, we all know what she is about today, in 2023: the future is bright as far as music is concerned.
At 10 yrs old, she managed to sing thru a perceived threat as a man gets on the stage and walks towards her, her facial expressions showed a touch of fear as they lay upon a complete stranger, she is startled, looks around for help, still confused, thinking what should I do, and almost instantaneously she positions back in front of the microphone and continues to sing getting back to her lyrics at just the right time. A true Professional, at just 10yo.
What a true professional. A stranger walks on the stage and kind of startles her. She keeps an eye on him and never misses a beat in the song then almost immediately her protective mother was all over it.
Gosh that first phrase! Exquisite beginning. I love how she sings "...Ma is good looking..." Yay, for Mom, Sara, looking out after her cub. I can't tell you how much I love that moment. She starts. It takes some moments for the band to get with it. First the bass, then the gentle snares...slowly the voices join in until finally the brass. How wonderful that she got experience singing under all manner of conditions. She was ready to sing that solo. LOL! Total poise. Of course, I could be misreading that, but... Anyway, a shout out to all Mother Bears protecting their cubs and helping them out when they need it. What a commitment Sara made! Such a dedicated commitment comes with costs and it is challenging to balance all that needs balancing when you are give an incredibly gifted child to nurture into independence. Shout out to Mom, Sara. She's the best. And Grandma, too, of course. Much love to the whole family, including Juliette. 💜

A down to earth performer, Angelina sang her pieces barefooted... the most humble characteristic I've necer seen from other singers. My appreciation for her angelic simplicity.
Oh my gosh!!! The end!!! I was like, hmmmm, everything is good, sounds good. But then the end of Feeling Good! Oh my! That was the best I have ever heard! Wow. Every video there's something surprising! I about dropped my phone when she did that! It's ridiculous how good she is. The clarity of it! Wow! I recently discovered you from America’s Got Talent and I can’t stop listening to you. You should have won that show. I haven’t listened to Jazz for a long time but I can’t get enough of you Angenila. You are sooo good. I hope you continue to sing and be so humble. I love the jazz songs especially.
Her family told Simon and others on AGT that they did not want her to win the show because they wanted her to finish her schooling. They also knew that if they signed with Simon and crew they would have to sign a contract and do what they wanted. They wanted her to one day sign with an independent record label which she did with Public Records. She is in control of what music she wants to sing and perform, with AGT and their contract she would have to do what they wanted. Simon agreed for her to go on the show knowing that they couldn't let her win the final. Sinon said Angelina Jordan would have won it hands down with her performances on AGT. Our Barefoot Princess 👸 calls the shots and makes her own path in the music industry. Her family from day one has played it very smartly when it comes to Angelina Jordan and her career.
She did this at 8 on Norway's Got Talent and was wonderful. Here we are a couple of years later and the voice is so much richer. Does anyone have an even newer version of this. This girl just gets better and better all the time. That's hard to do when one starts out so good.
WOW! I sat here in front of my desktop computer, absolutely stunned when the old man stepped up onto the stage! NO, NOT stunned at him; I knew there was something obviously out of sync with him. I was stunned at ANGELINA! At her UNBELIEVABLE calm, superhuman confidence, and apparent fearlessness as she stood right there, TEN YEARS OLD, in the uncertainty of the situation! She just took it all in stride, and went on to finish beautifully and serenely. Then, she's talking to her Mother as if, "Meh, no biggie! I wanna sing some more!" LOL! She's FANTASTIC!!!
I think that this performance shows how her parents try to have her live a normal life instead of one constantly in the limelight. The humble circumstances keep her grounded. She made the best of it because she is pure and humble and very talented. I hope that she can stay that way for a long time!

At a lot of these jazz concerts, even in the United States, there are many different venues indoors and outside-large and small. It must be very difficult for an artist to maintain their performance with children, patrons, and those wandering up on stage. Only a seasoned professional takes it in stride… As does Angelina.
Love this . She shows and portrays that everything don't always have to be about the big bucks. Stay humble and beautiful as you are little lady. Forget the critics. There is always people who look to criticize rather than appreciate. Feel sorry for them that they miss out on the good things.
The Kongsberg Jazz Festival has been around since the mid 60s @Rena Johansen so they have plenty of experience when it comes to security. Angelina has performed with this band at other Kongsberg Jazz Festival's and they are quite good. This particular performance was held in a tent for residents of a nursing home health center there in Kongsberg.
This is how many performers get their start, and it's wonderful and honorable when they choose to continue. I just can't get over how such a young person could have such an appreciation and understanding of rhythm and blues, and sings it so well. We wish Angelina a lifetime of happiness and success.
What I find remarkable is she is handling different arrangements of her repertoire that I'm sure were imposed on her . . . and she's 10! It seems like she even had to improvise on the first song. Such composure, and her control will only improve.
This is a heart-warming video. To know where you're going let us know where you've come from and here we see Angelina showering her star power on a small community event at the start of her career. The jazz band is what I would call an accomplished group of perhaps mostly amateurs, punching far above their way yet giving her enough of a sound to showcase her stupefying talent even as a little girl. The video and sound are great in letting us feel as if we were there. Was it shot by Phil? Gosh I just loved this.

Jazz is only one genre. She does many others. Jazz is where she started when she was very young.

Oh and Angelina absolutely slays this song. So much soul, skill and such a great voice. Love that she picks older soul and jazz, but will sing anything and so well.
At a lot of these jazz concerts, even in the United States, there are many different venues indoors and outside-large and small.
It must be very difficult for an artist to maintain their performance with children, patrons, and those wandering up on stage.
Only a seasoned professional takes it in stride… As does Angelina.

The Kongsberg Jazz Festival has been around since the mid 60s @Rena Johansen so they have plenty of experience when it comes to security. Angelina has performed with this band at other Kongsberg Jazz Festival's and they are quite good. This particular performance was held in a tent for residents of a nursing home health center there in Kongsberg.
She was more in tune than the band, lol. What a trooper!
This is how many performers get their start, and it's wonderful and honorable when they choose to continue. I just can't get over how such a young person could have such an appreciation and understanding of rhythm and blues, and sings it so well. We wish Angelina a lifetime of happiness and success.

What I find remarkable is she is handling different arrangements of her repertoire that I'm sure were imposed on her . . . and she's 10! It seems like she even had to improvise on the first song. Such composure, and her control will only improve.

This is a heart-warming video. To know where you're going let us know where you've come from and here we see Angelina showering her star power on a small community event at the start of her career. The jazz band is what I would call an accomplished group of perhaps mostly amateurs, punching far above their way yet giving her enough of a sound to showcase her stupefying talent even as a little girl. The video and sound are great in letting us feel as if we were there. Was it shot by Phil? Gosh I just loved this.
