Excellent! Thanks for showing it with all the various magazines. I was thinking of getting this rig and was hoping to switch between AR and AK. Not fitting the AK mags is not good.
@Ronald Robertson so to give you a better response, I prefer to run AKs. So I can't use this one. But I would prefer ones that works for both. Taco holders work for me on my plate carrier. I switch em out as needed
So .308/7.62x51mm NATO mags don't fit? Damn, I was hoping they would. When Biden got elected I laid in a good supply of 7.62x39mm rounds ( I'm an AKM guy ) and have way more than a thousand rounds, as well as a turret press, reloading bench, and components to make a bunch of ammo in a bunch of calibers, I like my Red Army Standard and Wolf. Since it looks as tho I will be shooting a lot more .308, I was hoping to find a chest rig that has built in pockets that fit both AK 47/AKM 30s and .308. It seems I will be using what I've been using for .308, RACK Vests with 100 round SAW gunner pouches as triple mag pouches, and E Tool covers as .308 mag pouches ( since purpose-built .308 mag pouches are relatively expensive and often carry a single mag each ). I guess I can use the MOLLE on the front to attach some of those pouches as well, since I'm gonna want to carry way more than 6 rifle mags ( especially 20 rounders like virtually all .308 mags ) of any caliber. Do you know of any Condor ( or similarly priced chest rigs ) that have built in mag pouches that fit .308? Oh, BTW, those elastic loops on the sides you were wondering about are for things like LED flashlights, CAT tourniquets, carabiners, knives, even hanks of 550 paracord, and whatever you can think of that will fit the loops and/or hook on or otherwise attach to them, A good use that came to mind as I looked at them is a Vietnam Ranger Tomahawk, with the handle inserted into the loops with a few wraps of paracord at a spot on the handle so that it sits at a height that makes it easier for you to grab, draw, and get the handle at a height that makes it at a good, combat ready grip height for you ( and Ranger Tomahawks are great CQB weapons ). Just some questions for you and thoughts on what I consider good uses the elastic loops can be used for. Good review and nice video
A veteran of Afghanistan used his over there and recommended not to do that, it tends to wear out the pouches faster. If you need more mag pouches, Molle them on.
Put tourniquets where the 2 outer elastic bands are. That's why they put them there. It works great too.
Thank you for including that ak mags can fit, I've been trying to figure this out for weeks
Great video, the ak mag size comparision was very helpful

+Eddie Sandoval Thanks, I am glad it helped.
Then don't get it for an AK.
@@ronaldrobertson2332 lol, this comment was 6 years ago
@@edstar1972 I know that. But I just had to.

The elastic things are probably there to hold a CAT Tourniquet but there is two of them so who knows.
Ideally, you would need four tourniquets for battle; one for each limb. So, putting either a C-A-T or a SOF-T in those loops would work great.
Are those mag pouches single or can you add double mags

Potato cam
Do you think that this chest rig would be able to fit a person like me. I am currently 5'5" and around 160 lbs. Thanks!
+Bob Saget Yes it will fit you.
+Mark32812 Ok thank you so much
You'll have to cut and resize the straps. I'm 6 foot 200 lbs and I had to tighten the status all the way for a good fit.
