"The Entertainer" Scott Joplin by OCR clip

In the 2023-24 school year, I'm having the opportunity to teach reading and writing a student who is blind. Keyboard time is his reward for good behavior every Friday. After he practically learned "Alley Cat" on his own, I decided to show him another one, "The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin. On 12/1/23, he showed me what he's learned already on his own... simply by looking up the track, listening and practicing along over the past few weeks. 😍
