SURFING A SHALLOW REMOTE REEF BREAK OFF THE GRID IN CANADA (RAW POV)

This was the last glove free session of the year but it sure didn't disappoint on this trip to a remote location on Vancouver Island, with sunny skies, offshore winds working in our favor we were greeted by some super crisp lines coming in upon arrival. Canadian surfers are a pretty hardy bunch, so it's not that uncommon to end up surfing with a solid crew even in the most remote places.

I was worried....first half was multiple surfers shoulder checking every wave with guys in the way down the line. Surprised to see this at this spot.

Ya it's a fine line for sure. The waves are super unpredictable out there so there's plenty of missed opportunities as well but sometimes it can be gnarly when people don't give you the benefit of the doubt.
