- I’ve always been fascinated about how sleep tracking works, specifically how wearable devices like the Apple Watch and Whoop are able to detect sleep. This video goes over the technology behind how they work giving you insights.

As a specialist in " measuring devices sensors and Transducers" in the Aviation industry... I must say the research done on this work is epic, elaborate, to the point and easy for the average "dummy" to understand... keep up the good work brotherly
Hey, good work! Would love to see a run-through workshop style video of "analyzing sensor data & training an AI model to detect sleep/activities" that you mentioned,
Cheers
Man! I love the effort and hard work that you have put into this video. Just love it
Thank you
Definitely looking forward to seeing you take on the project
Really enjoyed watching the video. You packed a lot of information in a succint and easy to follow way in under 5 minutes. Keep up the amazing work! +1 Sub
Thanks brother, this was extremely informative
The only confusing thing I noticed on my sleep tracker was the time the watch started recording it. I get in bed at 830 pm and am "out" within 2 minutes. In the morning, the tracker says my sleep actually started an hour or more later from the time I mentioned, consistently. I am keen to understand REM sleep time. Finally, I go to bed early and wake up early. 4 AM is my norm. Great video.
Wow, the first video I watched after being given a smart watch. Thank you, I really found the video informative! I'm yet to see more of your videos as I'd love to know how the heart rate sensors, etc, work!
This is great man! I've always wondered
Thought the same as you did. Thanks for the info. Makes sense.
EXCELLENT video and investigation! Thank you!
Great Video! Thanks a lot!
This is a really well made video!
Nice work ☺️
Thanks 😄
Just amazing
just found your channel and followed you cause Im working on a kaggle competition about sleep.
Thanks buddy
"I read research papers ..." underrated. Yay for checking out peer reviewed research!
Love from India 🇮🇳 ❤️❤️❤️
Awesome 😅!!!
how
I need a device that can keep me awake during the day 😴😣
I was thinking of a smartwatch that detects sleep and vibrates to wake you
Cool idea
This should be a function in an app that detects sleep and vibrates until sleep is no longer detected.
This should have been done long ago.
Well, here's 2 devices fit for that purpose: 1) enough sleep during the night. 2) drink coffee when you wake up and another after lunch.
What if you have something like nightmare and your heart beat rise up suddenly?
Good question, I think it will be captured as an event but based on the average of the last hour or two, and the next hour as well, it might read as an event while you were asleep. Just my guess though, I'm not entirely sure.
Howbl stress measure works
❤️
Wow, you get a lot of REM sleep
Apple watch not recording nap
Did anyone notice his heartrate at 4:05 says ........................ Monday..... (right after it spikes).
Good info. Good luck with your channel
Do you know if this data is only for you, or if this data is sent also to a third party?
Bro be original, you dont gotta copy the exact way mrwhostheboss makes his vids
Wow
