OK Danny, psyches will tell you that people who have PTSD or who suffer from chronic depression often go numb (people talk about fight or flight, but there's also the freeze response), where they don't feel strong emotions and find little reason in doing anything, especially routine or boring things, or if they, as you say, spend too much time in their head. But risk-taking activities, especially speed sports, unlock the freeze response and allow people to feel again, if only for a little while. It is a modern product of the massive vaccination schedule (>70 vaccines for kids these days), and the drive of Big Pharma to create 'disease' so they can profit a second time with pharmaceuticals that 'cure' ADHD and then a third time with medicines to address the side effects of the ADHD medication. However, as Danny says, riding a motorbike requires 110% concentration and this in itself is curative of most mental stresses.

What I've found works is this: (1) diet (keto preferably, but definitely no sugar, including no carbs & no alcohol); (2) routine rigorous exercise (daily for at least an hour); (3) watching inspirational videos (e.g. Danny!, David Goggins, Joe Dispenza, ) and listening to Dr Scott Eilers podcasts/videos (www.youtube.com/@DrScottEilers) - he is the best therapist that I've found anywhere by a long way.

What's the justification for an 80kmh limit on a highway? I think we all know the answer. @boeryco in Qld >20kmh over would be about $500 and 4 points. It's classed as high range speeding so if you get another high range ticket within 12 months they double the points on the second ticket giving you another 8 points which puts you at 12 points and choosing between 3 months on the bus or a one point good behaviour bond, and if you fail the 12 month good behaviour bond you're on the bus for 6 months. Hilarious really considering Australia has a gambling problem that they give people this double or nothing option for speeding.

Can't get revenue if your not speeding . Those are variable speed limits when there is more traffic or there could be stationary traffic ahead on the road and it goes back to 100 when traffic is lighter or stationary traffic has cleared

Blatant speed trap, 100 drops down to 80 you have cars entering and then exiting in a space of 200 meters, but keep your eyes on the speedo for "safety".
There is a speed camera in the 100 zone a hundred or so meters before the 80 zone. If it was a blatant trap, they would have been put in the 80 zone. Fair's fair, cop it on the chin and move one.

Surprised Vicpol didn’t aggressively chase you and run you off the road on the freeway with no warning like they did to me .All to hand me a ticket for doing 6km/h over the speed limit. When I raised a complaint with the policing standards committee the highway patrol car didn’t have a camera fitted so couldn’t review the actions of the officer. What a coincidence. I thought all highway patrol cars had state of the art cameras in them. You are right though that they are just a tax man. They don’t really seem interested in tackling excessive youth crime.
never say "I have no idea" or "I don't know" when asked about the speed limit or how fast you were going because then they can get you for careless/negligent driving also. Err remember the days when we had 2 speeds. 60kms when in town or on the edge of town were streets lights were. 100kms on hwy and maybe just maybe the odd 80kms on rural roads. Now we have everything from 20 to 110kms and is can change at a blink of an eye.

Danny! When I did my police driving training, the speed indication signs are the maximum speeds you enter either up or down. For instance, if in an 80 zone and on approaching 60, the maximum entry speed is 60. You can't go past the 60 at say 80, and, then cruise down to 60 a few 100 metres down the road. Another trap are Victoria rural towns that have say a 60 limit on the outskirts, and, you stop for your macca, and thinking it looks like an 80, or you forgot, and takeoff, go over 60, and, 'Gotcha'.

Having been a police officer here in the US, as others have asked, what’s the justification for the breath test and the whole tongue scrape? Does every traffic stop require that in Australia? Seems just a bit invasive for a speed violation, especially now they have a DNA sample if they choose to have that test done and a name to go with it. Never get away with that shit where I’m at. The breath test (PBT) has to have indicators present before requesting one, erratic driving, the SMELL of alcohol on the drivers breath etc… Had the opportunity to migrate to Australia back in the 90’s. If that’s the way it is there, thank the lord I’m smart enough to have stayed where I am
They do not need a reason to pull you over every thing is at their discretion. They can give any one a breath/drug test if that is what they want to do. Driving or pedestrian.

After several years in Africa and encounters with snakes, I have always found them to be very passive creatures, who are more afraid of you, than you are of them. Giving them free unhindered passage has never given me a problem with these magnificent creatures.
What you may not know if you are from another country. Vic has this weird thing where the limit goes from 80km to 110km in a matter of hundred metres, they lower speeds all over the place. For no other reason other to allow cars to merge or just because the roads are rubbish and they will never improve them. There is no risk of accidents, in fact direction of travel as they call it is much safer to maintain same speed as cars around you. Spent two weeks in Vic and did my head in trying to work out what the heck which speed I was meant to do.
Yeah mate that’s a great way to invite them do a roadworthy on the bike and go home with a major defect notice for the exhaust on top of the speeding ticket.
Its very well sign posted there's also a speed camera warning sign prior to the fixed speed camera in the 80 zone of which hes more than likely to get a ticket from also. I bet danny is aware of all the cameras and zones westside of the city as we on the east are aware of ours.

I have a issue with fining anyone doing reasonable speeds on a long straight highway. 20 over in a suburban street yeah that fair but in Vic they fine you for doing 3km over the speed limit. Absolute Revenue Raising.

What you may not know if you are from another country. Vic has this weird thing where the limit goes from 80km to 110km in a matter of hundred metres, they lower speeds all over the place. For no other reason other to allow cars to merge or just because the roads are rubbish and they will never improve them. There is no risk of accidents, in fact direction of travel as they call it is much safer to maintain same speed as cars around you. Spent two weeks in Vic and did my head in trying to work out what the heck which speed I was meant to do.

The electric speed signs should flash if the speed is change on them.
Its very well sign posted there's also a speed camera warning sign prior to the fixed speed camera in the 80 zone of which hes more than likely to get a ticket from also. I bet danny is aware of all the cameras and zones westside of the city as we on the east are aware of ours.

VIC has lovely roads but the speed limits and how they change are ridiculous.. 23 over would be over $400, and yes, revenue raising to pay the plods wages..
I have a issue with fining anyone doing reasonable speeds on a long straight highway. 20 over in a suburban street yeah that fair but in Vic they fine you for doing 3km over the speed limit. Absolute Revenue Raising.
