Actor Johnny Depp is suing ex-wife Amber Heard for $50 million for defamation in connection with Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she spoke out about being the victim of domestic violence. Heard’s article did not specifically name Depp as her alleged abuser, but according to Depp’s lawsuit, it relied “on the central premise that Ms. Heard was a domestic abuse victim and that Mr. Depp perpetrated domestic violence against her.” Amber Heard is counter-suing Depp for $100 million.
The defamation trial began Monday in Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia, with jury selection completing on the same day. Speaking from personal experience there is NO way Johnny punched her with those rings on & it left no injury or makeup was used to cover it. The beatings AH described would've left significant injury with rings that big. I had worse injuries being slapped across my face than what she has shown from all those alleged beat downs. I'm disgusted by her lies.

Literally all their testimony is about how they all lived in his house for free and never seen him hit her but she would tell them he did and all the big injuries (broken nose) or blood covering the bed there's no evidence of it.. but small injuries that either she can easily cause to herself (like bitten her lips) specially if she already started recording all their private conversations as if she preparing for something, and she never got him to admit that he hit her but once in self defense where she was chasing him and hold him and he pushed her , also the woman that her sister lived with Jennifer Howell, Amber Heard’s sister’s boss , stated that Amber's sister told her that she abuses JD all the time and she doesn't know why he stays with her and that she is afraid her sister might kill Johnny! .. it's clear that she was the abusive one , he might have pushed her back every now and then when she would force him to stay and fight with her and when it was clear he was over the relationship she decided to destroy him publicly

There is a chance that they genuinely believed everything AH had told them about JD. If what they're saying is true, they saw him drink and do substances a lot, call AH a lot of horrible names and see her with her some kind of marks and just put 2 and 2 together. Maybe once he was out of the picture, they all became her next targets and they realized after helping to aid in the destruction of JD's career that they only had a one-sided version of events. Probably one of the biggest reasons for his using drugs and drinking so heavily. There is such a stigma on mental health, especially for men, most turn to self medicating with drugs and/or alcohol. Such a sad situation..

We've all heard the way Amber spoke to Johnny on several occasions. SHE was the antagonist. She did not sound afraid of him.
Anyone elsw noticed that her friends were talking about some events using exactly the same sentences and words as amber did when she was on the stand? I know its normal that ppl tell the same story when its truth, but using exactly the same sentences word to word? A bit sus, plus how is it that none of them is still good friends with her if she was so nice?

Convenient that she reconnected with some of them a very short time prior to them being called upon.
But even if things are exaggerated or falsified whatever word is most accurate, they can’t change their stories now because they’ve already testified to those events in past trials.
Rocky seemed to cry more at times that didn’t seem to be moments one would cry at in her depo (my opinion)

This was one of the few witnesses where he looked up to look at them. And then after awhile he looks back down again. I'm not going to pretend to read his mind. But I suspect he still has some sympathy for her. Which is a shame, because blood is forever and she's going to have to defend her sister by default for her own sake.

When I tried to leave my abusive ex, he grabbed one of my children’s toys and hit himself in the face with it several times. Told me he would get custody of the baby after he called police and told them i hit him. Of course i stayed because my baby is my everything. I can’t believe Johnny had all these people living there with him. They were her friends, not his. Even though he opened his home, and let them live there for free, there was no loyalty towards him. What a terrible lifestyle they had, drunk or drugged most of the time, including Johnny. I pray everything comes out well for him, and hopefully learns from it. Get sober and stay sober.

I have a theory about that bruise on Amber's cheek at the courthouse. I was curious, if I punched myself with my own dominant hand, where would my fist naturally land on my face? I didn't hit myself, but I imitated the motion with force, pulling the punch just short, then pressing my knuckles to my face where they would have landed. It was centered just under my cheekbone, just like her bruise is. Keep in mind, Johnny is right handed, so if he was facing her and punched with his dominant hand, the bruise would be on her left cheek, but it's not; it's on the right, where her own dominant hand would land... Highly sus.
That’s a good point! It seems so crazy to injure yourself, but I don’t think it’s completely off the table because obviously one or both of them are lying.
I also wonder about her skin condition, as well as the possibility of having injections done. I imagine she gets some kind of injections to manage her beauty since it’s part of being an actor. Also I have rosacea, and I get splotchy/red extremely easily. She mentioned needing to wear spf since she has a skin condition, and I can relate to that.

I'm not a fan of Mr. Depp and I didn't know who AH was until this trial. So I'm viewing and listening to all of this with an open-mind, nonpartisan, unprejudice sight, hearing and mind. When Mr. Depp testified he sounded like a man with nothing to lose. He seemed defeated and seemed he just wanted to tell his story. When AH first came on from the very beginning she gave the impression she was putting on some act and was not taking it serious. Maybe she felt because UK sided with her, the ACLU was backing her and Aqua still wanted her that everyone would believe her because in her mind she "thinks" she is beautiful. Her testimonies, videos, recordings, the UK information shown, her actions, demeanor, etc., have clearly shown this is a huge untruthful charade.
She has shown disrespect to Mr. Depp's attorneys, the judge, the court attendees and the jury with her atrocious lies, demeanor and actions. It's unfortunate not one of her friends or family members who reaped from Mr. Depp's generosity could tell at the very least 75% truth. Mr. Depp probably felt like a stranger amongst them. And they made sure to make him feel uncomfortable.

Hope Mr. Depp @ 58 years of age learns from all this. Stay away from way younger woman ( really young woman don't want older men- seriously, they really don't); stay away from drug/alcohol users and leeches. Stay sober Mr. Depp, soul search, spend quality quiet time with your children, family and those true friends who stood by you in all. You may also have to make changes to those employed for you, especially those who are living rent free and taking from you.
I'm more than confident the jury will see what 95%+ of the world have seen. AH may think she's pulling one over them- but she's not. Even her attorneys are having a difficult time representing her with all the charades and lies.

I'm hoping everyone else noticed how when Whittney is testifying about the "Kate Moss Stair Incident", that she practically gives the exact same testimony AH did. Those story's were told almost word for word. And Whitney used the same exact phrase AH did. They both said "and then she finally hit him, it was the only time she ever landed one".
The jury better be paying attention to this. It's almost like "they got their stories straight".

The nerve of Amber to make this trial about Johnny being a drug abuser and alcoholic while both she and her friends we living off of him and taking all of his drugs and alcohol with him and without him 😭😭😭 these people have no shame
I'm half listening because I'm at work but from what I can hear Josh sounds like an amazing witness, he hasn't assumed anything and literally just says what he saw and experienced without embellishing.
This is the first balanced account I think I've heard so far.
However, the weird thing about his testimony is that he describes damage and shows photos of damage that he says he showed the first set of cops that arrived. But those cops testified that they found no damage. And the body cam footage of the second set of cops that arrived about an hour and a half later also doesn't show the damage that is in the photos. So about that at the very least he is blatantly and flatly lying. It calls into question his testimony in general for me.

All these testimonies show that her friends had a great time taking advantage of JD’s generous and gentle soul. It also show that her BFFs are gone and did not stand by her today.

I find it quite interesting that Johnny’s friend group during his marriage to Amber were all people she brought into his life and then ended up living off of him. It’s ridiculous that it seems like Amber asked for her friends and sister to move into the properties so she didn’t have to be alone. I thought abusers isolated their victims not pay for their friends to live rent free, pay for trips and dinners to excess so his wife would be happy.

Poor Johnny!! You can tell as soon as he realized Whitney wasn’t going to tell the truth, he put his glasses in and quit looking at her. This guy is never going to trust anyone again, and he’ll never be able to relax and do what he wants in his own private time. He has never denied doing drugs or drinking! He has always been honest about that. Being in the public this long and having so many people in his life, in his home, and privy to what happens in his home it’s really hard to believe that all of a sudden in his 50s he’s an abuser, this is all ridiculous. I hope her and her friends are held accountable for the lies they’re telling.

There is typically some noticeable bruising and discolouration for a few days to a week after such treatments. Has anyone asked about whether she was having botox / fillers at the time? Most actresses do have such treatments. It’s considered the norm in Hollywood. I URGE Camille to investigate this if she hasn’t already - a discovery like this could be a game changer!
I’ve been saying that since her photos came out. It’s clear she gets injectables considering the weird contorsions she makes trying to squeeze a tear, how her undereye pads bunch up... Only got as far as Rocky’s depo so far, and one thing that springs to mind is how she is no longer friends with her. Part of me wonders if it’s because since they originally came up with the story about 6 years ago, Rocky has come to a realisation about what actually happened. The problem now is that she would still need to lie for someone who isn’t even her friend anymore otherwise she would be admitting to the world that she lied (which would be very bad for her). Not only that but she would be admitting that she lied under oath in previous cases which would be bad for her legally. If you look at Johnny’s face during the depo he looks genuinely very very upset. Imagine helping someone out when they broke up with their boyfriend by giving them free lodgings in a luxury penthouse then them throwing you under the bus like that.
I really am trying to keep an open mind but something really isn’t adding up here. I don’t think Johnny is completely free from blame but he’s put his hands up about his shortcomings but I don’t see much responsibility being taken from the other side. I think neither were perfect but just judging their characters and the voice recordings, I get much more of an impression that she instigated most of the things.

Sounds like the relationship was volatile from both parties with her being an aggressor and jealous of his star power that she wanted desperately. Amber has some mental health issues that have led to her treating him that way and Johnny let her because of his childhood.

Yesterday Heard said she was putting on make up to go to the courthouse, but her friend 'Rocky' stopped her and told her not to put make up on. WHO IS LYING? Who's testimony is worthless? If they lie under oath once, they're discredited.

8:11:45 her acting coach just exposed Amber unintentionally, she said that most of their sessions at some point began with her actually crying so she needed to fit in extra time to get her together before they started work, and then remarked about how Amber ironically has trouble crying when she's acting, as in fake crying... and during Amber's first day on the stand, we all witnessed how she was wailing and sobbing and sniffing dramatically without a single tear coming out of her eye... she was acting.
Also, her crying doesn’t mean a whole lot because she cried whenever Johnny had to remove himself from their toxic arguments. She would say, “you’re killing me” 😭 just because he needed to walk away.

One thing I find absolutely heartbreaking and also good is the amount of comments from men on different platforms saying until this trial, they didn't realize that they were in an abusive relationship, that they just take it, were embarrassed to report or say anything due to fear of not being believed or being picked on, or just thought they were the problem. That's so heartbreaking to me.
If nothing else I'm happy a light was shown here and I hope it brings up many more conversations regarding not just believing someone due to their gender but actually investigating and believing the truth. Men deserve to be believed just as much as women do ❤️.

My son has just gotten out of one of these, partially because of this trial. He started watching it, and recognised for the first time what his girlfriend was doing-- exactly like Heard's manipulation and narcissism. He'd known something was wrong, but didn't have the experience to give it a name.

Botox and fillers can cause redness & bruising. Having filler injected into the check area can cause bruising and swelling. Lip fillers cause bleeding and swelling. Hair extensions can cause scalp irritation and redness and the extensions eventually fall out. I have had all procedures done. AH bruises & bleeding lip look exactly like after having a procedure done, NOT from domestic violence. I have had enough procedures done to recognize her injuries are comparable to the side effects of having Botox and fillers injected.
Non of them has NEVER indicated nor witnessed about "all the house were have drops of blood" , "my pillow, the top cover was with blood on it" , nor "all my clothes were full of split paint on them"
Not even 1 picture has showed a blood on their bed or paint on her closet and clothes.

My major takeaway is that Heard and her friends are freeloaders who mooched off Depp and when they realized the party and their penthouse was over , all lied in an attempt to still live that lifestyle. The only person who seemed somewhat honest was the MUA who didn't grossly exaggerate Heard's injuries by stating she had slight discoloration around the eyes and a minor lip injury.
This just sounds like Johnny was such a lonely guy and was vulnerable and this lady came into his life, cast a spell on him, introduced him to all her cool young friends, and used to him for everything he's worth. Now that's he's not giving her and her friends treatment they all come out to defame him qnd make him worthless

Amber's sister describes how terrible Johnny was when he was taking drugs, later she describes how she was taking drugs with him. So you know he gets abusive with your sister when he takes drugs and your sister wants him to stay clean and take drugs with him anyway?! Wow that's an amazing sister 👏
Also only watching this now: She describes how she saw cocaine on the table when they where staying at the trailer park. She didn't think much about it because they where there to have fun. So he was abusive when taking drugs but she wasn't concerned seeing drugs there. How is this supposed to make any sense?

So when she said "I fell asleep" it was okay. Oh she's just having a little snooze but when Johnny fell asleep he was "passed out" How is that fair?
Another thing that only came up later is she describes how one time she was woken up during the night and that was one of the rare times she was sober because she was sleeping. All this supposed concern about keeping Johnny clean cause he would turn into a monster if intoxicated and meanwhile she was drunk or high all the time? Unfortunately his lawyers missed to point this things out to the jury during cross.
Heck, my BIL LOVES video games, but we stopped giving them to him as gifts when we realized he was using them as a tool to hurt my sister emotionally. I couldn't imagine giving him drugs or alcohol if we knew he was going to go beat her afterwards if we did.

That's what people like her do, they keep telling you how that one thing that you hate most about yourself is keeping you down, because they can only control you when you're down. it seems painfully clear that Amber Heard has COMPLETELY reversed the roles. Most of what she claims Johnny did were things that SHE actually did. Isolating him from his friends, physically assaulting him, punching him, editing photos, etc etc

She did TRO, alerted press, threatened him when stories about her started coming out, was vindictive AF about the money she "doesn't want" not coming from him directly because he'd get a tax break and somehow she knew she'd be sued so she couldn't pay the charities.

The red marks and bruising on Amber were the result of Botox and fillers or self-inflicted injury. It’s not hard to inflict redness and bruising on your own face. Amber is wacky enough to do that to herself. If Johnny had hit her with his rings on, we’d be seeing pictures with much more damage to her face. Don’t forget…she physically assaulted him on multiple occasions and there is a lot of recorded evidence to support it. Not to mention, there are pictures of Johnny with bruises and a bandaged finger. In many of the recordings, Amber says “sorry” for hitting him or else she does not deny hitting him.
I saw an entire twitter feed entitled "debunking the bruises". I've had some cosmetic procedures done and our side effects are identical

This case has been so interesting and traumatic at the same time, because as a DV victim a lot of what amber says is true to what happens to DV victims but its obviously stuff you can find from research. The one thing i know for a fact is that she felt like a very proud woman about it and to this day(after almost 10yrs) i still cant look people in the eyes when i speak about my experience.

Also at the dinner party on thanksgiving AH lied out right saying she had made / cooked / prepared the whole meal and when Marilyn Manson’s assistant friend was there speaking with Johnny’s staff they laughed and said NO she did not make the meal HE had made the meal.. You can see the disappointment in JD’s face as he was listening to AH’s sister’s testimony. She speaks nothing but negatively of JD. Both of their testimonies as they describe each other’s relation to one another are the complete opposite. Sad to see how JD generously opened his home (rent free for years) to AH’s friends and family just to get thrown under the bus by all of them. It’s obvious that they all corroborated the same story for their testimony. The lack of integrity and honesty is disgusting to witness 💀

Hearing her psychotic freakout in those recordings when he's trying to leave for 2 hours was what sealed it for me. She's one of those people you should stay completely away from. I know people that behave just like that... compulsive and manipulative liars.
