Iceland Volcano Marathon 2023 - Event Recap

12 August 2023, we hosted the epic race set near Lake Mývatn in phenomenal Iceland, where 19 different countries were represented by runners from all over the world.🏃‍♀️🏃
The route took the runners directly through breathtaking landscapes and different terrains in the North Volcanic Zone. It's a hot bed of geothermal activity with geysers, hot springs, lava rock and magnificent flora.
A tough course and an incredible achievement.🥇
