I found Wednesdays words very feckin supportive, she is not wrong and that does make me feel better about the prospect of dying alone. In reality dying alone is a better way to go out, no loved ones to watch you degrade and wither just hospital staff giving you enough drugs to take the edge off until the time comes.
Remember those adult Wednesday skits and she told the hairdresser that even if you find someone you love, you're most likely going to die alone anyways, unless of a rare chance of dying in a plane crash together, you may have them, but are likely to die at different times and one of you is bound to die alone eventually.

Exactly! There are many of us who enjoy being left alone, but we don't necessarily enjoy *being* alone. There are times we need others just for someone to talk to or maybe we need a hug...and a lot of us don't have that. That's when we feel truly alone and it's not the comfortable solitude we enjoy.
Lone wolves also have a statistically much higher mortality rate. They are far more evolved for packs than humans, and even humans need *some* interaction. The romantic notion of the loner as being cool is unhealthy, at best. *Especially* for wolves.
