Hard to believe this gift is no longer with us. A great person and a dynamic minster of music. She sang like this every chance she got. Ashley will definitely be missed.

My Lord! Her aunt I believe spoke at her funeral and she said “you better STRETCH!” I had no idea this young lady sang this song I mean SANG this song. I remember as a teenager in high school back in 1971, we had a Black History Service, and we as a Black History CHOIR sang this song, STRETCH OUT, I led the song, that was my first experience singing this song...Many had not known the power of God, but the Lord moved right there in that High School Auditorium over 50 years ago, 🙌🏾🔥🙌🏾...
The principal tried to stop us, but you can't stop or block what God has anointed...Thank You Lord for allowing me to be used by You, for such an hour as that....STRETCH OUT ON GOD'S WORD..🙌🏾🔥🙌🏾

Whenever you quote scripture while ad libbing, it tells me you have relationship with Jesus. Ashley basically preached and took us IN! I was blessed to meet and sing with her on her last recording and what you see in this video is what happened in Washington DC. What an awesome anointing.
She sung this song! I felt I could stretch out a little bit more when I heard this rendition. She’s among the great cloud of witnesses cheering us on!

Praise the Lord I was watching the word my spiritual father Bishop TD Jakes was teaching I was learning the word he had to give me in my spirit. And in after the word was praising God and Lord have mercy this song came on and didn't even know that it was done in his church The Potter's House 3 minutes and 50 seconds into the song I found out like 2 days later I was watching and I said look at God oh my goodness look at God moving I was praising God so hard I was good God almighty

When something as powerful as the Word flows from such a powerful voice and anointed vessel, it is something to behold. This is what happens when someone is taught the Word more than singing, and to love the Word above all else. Everyone in that building should have been unconscious! We have a glimpse of what she's doing on the streets of glory.

I remember this oldie. She did it with all the heavenly justice. I needed this all her words were hitting where I needed them to hit. If I was there, I would have been in the aisle curting a rug shouting so hard. Old school gospel that you can feel the spirit all up and through. Sometimes, you have to shout on the devils head. Cry and dance through the tough times. Create the opening in the spirit relm for God to do the above and beyond extrordinary things. You thought you had me, Satan. How do these shouting feet feel?!!
