My experience is with every type of fragrance (long lasting or not) just spray it into the person's nose who you are talking to and they will smell it from unlimited distance from you. Your welcome guys.

He's wrong though. 3 sprays is often not enough. The wrist is a good spot to apply because you usually gesture when you speak (as long as you're not doing something that requires frequent habd washing). The neck is a bad spot to apply because the alcohol can irritate your skin if you shaved (i've heard people claim it also causes premature aging of the skin on your neck, but I haven't seen evidence).

I should give you guys a tip. Always spray behind each ear. Never spray elsewhere. The fragrance would evaporate slowly behind the ear because this area is not blown by the wind when you are walking.
And ya won't go noseblind within 2 hours of applying

Once behind each ear is good and putting fragrance/cologne on the neck allows for the scent to trail.
I spray it on my chest area on my shirt or hoody and rub it in, I don’t use a lot I just make sure it’s rubbed into my clothing really well to where it smells worn a bit idk how else to explain it lol
@@validbutatwhatcost8754 one on the back of the neck is good but not as great as one behind each ear. Spraying behind each ear will always be the best choice whatever scent you have. It stays there for the whole day and the scent radiates at the same time.

Because a fragrance should inhance your body, not overpower it or cover "other" smells. That's why I prefer colognes that are more subtle. 😊

I've been contemplating if spraying on the wrist is a waste with most except for some real powerful ones like sauvage elixir you're not gonna smell anything if you only spray your wrist
Eau de toilettes should be sprayed 3-5 times depending on the strength eau de parfums should be sprayed 2-3 times, outside environments call for more sprays, inside environments less. 👌
Apply lotion to spots where you're gonna spray. The oils will stay on top of your skin for longer rather than absorbing into your skin.

Agree with everything except the last one. If you’re wearing a heavy winter style fragrance then yes, 3 squirts is enough. If it’s a lighter/fresher fragrance then 10+ squirts is fine trust me

@@supremechiptunes2108 yep. I think winter/autumn fragrances are heavier, deeper, richer scents. While summer/spring are cooler, lighter, fresher scents.
This could also be applied what you wear for the day or when going out for the night - lighter/fresher scents for the day; richer/heavier scents for the night. Hope that helps!

Not a pulse point but I recommend using a spray on the back on your dominant hand, people tend to move that arm around and it causes the smell to waft a bit, especially for those that talk with their hands (also it’s easier to check how long it’s lasting without looking super weird)

I'm an oversprayer! I choose the number and where I spray based on strength of scent & occasion. Fresh scents are generally less offensive and weaker so I spray more. I spray dark fragrances less. Some are very strong in the opening but with beautiful drydown or smells good in the air. Those I don't spray on my neck but my lower torso especially thick oud or leather... E.g. La Yuqawam/Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. Is very strong, I don't spray on my neck but on my wrist as it creates a nice bubble without being overwhelming. Also I spray an hour before going out because the opening is to harsh but the mid is gorgeous raspberry and Leather..
There are glands behind our ears that create oils that trap the fragrance giving it better performance! I do a spritz behind each ear, a spray full on my neckline right above my chest and a full spray on the back of my neck !
All that and its likely no wonder that you have a reputation as a slimeball. Too much brah..

Depends on the fragrance something like swy intensely ultra male or spice bomb extreme will kill somebody with 5 sprays however the average summer sent edt will require like 7+ sprays if you want it to last more then 2 hours

3 sprays might make yourself slightly anosmic to it tho, making you think you can’t smell it when in fact everyone around you can. You also have to remember women can smell far better than men can on average. Plenty of times I couldn’t smell a fragrance on myself anymore but others tell me I smell great.

@@shvilli3429 Do you ever wonder why atomizers release the amount they do? Could it be that one spray is really all you need? Fragrance shouldn’t be something someone across the room smells. It should be something you want them to lean in closer to get a whiff of. You want a person to want to be closer to you right? I work with a lot of women and trust me, when they can smell a man from further than a few feet away, they comment negatively on that person amongst their coworkers and friends. It seems more like theyre trying to mask the odor of something else instead of wanting to attract another person to come in closer.

spraying on your wrists and neck VS just the neck creates a better sillage. I do two on the sides of my neck and one on each wrist and have always had great reactions using that application. Also the Amount of sprays you apply always depends of the performance of the fragrance you are applying. If it's strong and projects very well then dial the spays back but lighter fragrances you can pretty much spray 6,7,8 times and it still not be offensive to anyone. Just use common sense.

Daily wear i do chest and both wrists. Going to the bar i do wrists, inside elbows, chest(under my clothes) and neck. Sometimes a spray on the shirt as well. This works great when getting hugs
You can’t generalize and say it’s 3 sprays.
Depends on the fragrance how many sprays you do… and you can’t always go by whether it’s an EDT, EDP, or Parfum etc. to help figure that out.

3 squirts is insane😂 I use 6-10 based on the strength of the fragrance, front and back of the neck behind the ears both wrist/ crease of elbow if I have short sleeves and hit the shirt and the jacket I always get compliments on how a smell 🤷🏿♂️

Kevin Samuels disciple here, you do hit the wrist in the winter when you have long sleeves and the middle of the arm in summer so when you are using hand motions it sends that waft
One on either side of your neck and then one on your wrist is the correct way to do it. But then don’t rub your wrist together because that breaks down the scent, tap your wrists together.

Tip: Put on your your jugular and it soaks into your blood flow and when active will pour out of all of your pores!
I had a person spray me in the Mojave library just for a reaction then I saw that same person trying to sell her "drugged perfume". At made me sick for about an hour. All I can say is this is a real good way to get put in prison or have street justice served. Stop spraying before you all get hurt. Only warning y'all get. 💯

I heavy spray to help people keep their distance but smell my fragrance... I spray my hair also silage spray my legs if I know I am going to be walking around a lot.
I always do neck and ears but at least one spray or two on wrist for me to smell the fragrance during the day to forget my problems for couple of seconds.
The wrist works if you want extra sprays after your neck because when you move your arms you throw scent trails around you, and the number of sprays depends on the strength of the fragrance, it doesn't have to be 3. Odd tips
I get compliments when I overspray. I put one each wrist, each side of my neck, behind my ears, one at the back of my neck, one at my chest, one at my back, one each shoulders. 11 in total. Sometimes i spray on my trousers and toes. Make sure you spray inside your mouth, too.
