This was great but when I right-clicked nothing came up - no options at all. No alternative axis choice. Ideas?

Hi Nicole, did you make sure you physically selected the line of data you wanted to plot as the secondary axis? You can either double click it and the 'format data series' options will appear or you can select the line then right click the option 'format data series'. I am working in Microsoft Excel 365, if you're working on a different version there may be subtle differences.

@@laurasmith_uos student version through a college. Format tools limited. Only showing options for one axis point. No option to create a second. I’m on hour three trying to research it. I’m trying to graph wolf and elk populations in Yellowstone. All that data inputting!! 🙈Even Microsoft’s “help section” is wrong. Had someone in IT try to find it! Couldn’t figure it out. I’m at a loss. Thanks for responding though. It’s been a tough day.

@@laurasmith_uos Hi 👋 Just in case anyone reads the comments - the newest student version of excel through the online platform does not have this function, you literally have to download the desktop version to your computer and then all the options appear! 🙌
Research paper complete! Thank you for your video!

@@Brandi.Nicole I'm glad you got your research paper sorted! Thank you for the advice regarding the student version too. Thank you.

@@Brandi.Nicole Hah I am in the same situation a year later. Different problem though. I am trying to plot in two different graphs representing a lab test. Excel just wont cooperate with just plotting in the X and Y axis. It seems so simple in my head but getting it to work in excel is a different beast. Almost considering just drawing it in paint at this point.
