4:48 I won't lie, I had to look into the wiki to see if the math was mathing. Apparently, from 0-10m, if you do a body shot with the judge it does 17 per pellet. Since you hit Cypher 8 times, that was a total of 136. Feet damage is 14 so it really was 150.

what you said about elo hell is SO true. so many people just blame their teammates, equipment, and even the game itself that they just dont even consider the possibility of bettering themselves to outshine these factors if they even mattered in the first place.

i used to blame my equipment as to why i wasn't getting out of silver, but after reacing plat, i realized it was just me. hit diamond now with more powerful equipment, but i'm still blaming myself for my own mistakes... plus i dont feel like i belong in diamond. i feel like a low plat lol

1:50 elo hell does exist as many have connection problems, smurfing, gamesens(probably due to not listening guides and picking random agents with zero knowledge)
Gamesense is absolutely a skill issue, smurfing is not nearly as big of a problem as some people say, and as for connection, there really isn't much that can be done for an online game, if you have bad internet just don't play competitive online stuff. VALORANT doesn't require too good internet anyway

Yeah but I really don't think this applies to Valorant, as someone who's played a lot of fighting games and quite a bit of Valorant. I do think that your performance as an individual player of a team can often be a deciding factor on whether you win or lose, but to pretend that there's just no outside factors at all is frankly foolish.
You can get awful teammates over and over again and go on a losing streak, you can go against really good players in a coordinated team over and over again, while you're solo-queing and losing each time because none of your random teammates can coordinate as well.
I think the thing with the Valorant is that you either accept this reality or you quit the game lol. You are powerless to the match-making system, nothing you do can ever improve your teammates, you can only improve on yourself, and sometimes that's enough and sometimes it isn't. You either make peace with this fact or you quit the game and go play something else.
Also I do wish the Valorant ranked system would prioritize your performance as an individual player more than it currently does. It's so fucking stupid how you can go insane and drop fucking 300 kills in a ranked match while all of your teammates have single digit scores, but yet if you lose you still lose 16 or 20 RR. Match MVP losses should only take away like 5 RR max imo.
