The fact that Peter actually used a spider tactic to find the lizard is very amazing. The whole point of putting webs in several directions and joining them is so he could feel the vibrations of his desired target, it's why spiders place different webs and combine them, to sense where their prey is.
Thank you captain Obvious. You forgot to add that spider itself knows exactly which webs are coated with glue and which aren't so he can move on his own web without getting stuck to it. Yes, the tactic is so amazing, so incredible, just like... a human putting glasses on. That awesome. And we know the boy is a genius because he left his name on the back of the camera he uses as a spider. So spiderlike.

I always loved how Connors referred to himself as a subject and how detached he sounded. As a kid I hadn't seen too many movies and it really highlighted to me how engrossed he was in his science and how he went from a brilliant scientist to a mad one.

No, more like how he acted so cocky and arrogant when he gained his power's. Not only stuff like that, the movies plots and villains would fall apart. I like how his movements are like an actual spiders, but he just doesn't strike me as the Best actor. If we could get Tobey's Peter, Andrews fighting and acrobatics, and more of Tom's teenagerness and his adept showing of intelligence, we could get a damn good spider actor.

No, the flash of the camera caught his attention so he went over to destroy it, probably because it was annoying him or because he didn't want whoever put it there to know about his hideous transformation just yet, causing city-wide panic or having some adversary study up on him. It just so happened that he saw the back of the camera and some idiot owner wrote his name on the camera.

yeah i was terrified of the lizard when i was younger
I remember being a kid and watching this scene and when the Lizard popped up out of no where i screamed in the theaters and stood up, then i said, "Alright lets go home." My mother didnt take me home until after the movie ended anyways.

The only minor thing I didn't like about No Way Home is how they made Lizard the underdog villain of the movie.

@@omegashinobi I'm not referring to his strength, his character felt like it was forced into the movie. They didn't even bother to show how he was captured by Strange. Unless I got too excited and miss the part. We saw how Goblin, Sandman, Electro and Doc Ock was captured except for him.
@@sagenb Sadly it was probably dude to CGI cost. I wouldve loved to see a fight between Lizard & Strange tho. Especially since Strange looked somewhat beat up after also

I really like how they incorporated actual traits from spiders. For example Peter can sense if something is moving because his webs start moving, real spiders use this technique to sense prey.
1:47 dude that fast little movements of his head look like a real spider. The way he act his senses is so good that's why Andrew spiderman is so amazing
This scene always scared me a bit because the way the lizard was chasing him through the water was terrifying

I actually really like the suit Peter made in this movie. Sure it could have done without it's basketball like texture and smaller lenses for the eyes of the mask but it was still a decent looking suit. I actually like to think of this suit as a rough sketch. It was Peter's first time actually becoming Spider-Man by donning the red and blue suit. So I think it made sense that the suit would be more blue than red and have the sunglasses for the eyes of the mask. And then in the second, he made some improvements to that sketch by giving the mask bigger eyes, dropping the texture and adding more red. But once again, that's my opinion. If you guys hate the suit in this movie, that's fine.

This video is from 2014 and yet MCU 2021 with all the money can't give us MCU Spidey with good CGI, swinging scenes and fight scenes. They shoulda brought the people who worked on TASM movies over to work on MCU Spidey as well. The CGI used on MCU Spidey looks like a cartoon.
Say whatever you want but Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man is one of the best potrayals Ive ever seen. Its like 90% comics and science combined.
So considering Dr. Strange found Lizard in the sewers, I'm guessing Lizard was pulled into the MCU after this fight because he discovered Spider-Man's identity after the fight.

These movies definitely have a decent list of flaws, and are my least favourite of the Spider-Men, but I cannot deny that Garfield's Peter has such a perfect physicality to him. His fighting is perfect for what I want to see of a Spider-Man movie

Am I the only one that really loves Lizard in this movie? This movie made the Lizard top 3 in my list of favorite Spidey villains. Curt Connors is such an interesting character imo and I loved Rhys Ifans take on him.

Man, Peter really followed up one of the smartest things he could do with one of the dumbest. Creating a web to track his prey right before he’s exposed for bringing in his camera with his own name on it. The duality of man. I suppose he’s a rookie and it’s still pretty early in his career as a superhero.

Peter is still a human, and sometimes you forget certain things/don't think of certain things. And it's entirely in the real of believability. I've seen smart people forget to think of dumber stuff.

What I love about this iteration of Peter Parker is that Marc Webb and his writers took the concept of a "SPIDER/MAN" very literally.
He's overly-alert and often Jittery, super-perceptive, intelligent, crawls all over the fucking place and even crafts complex webs to catch prey ( or to detect predators ).
