Ideal time for idli steaming 1. 7-8 minutes, High flame ( if idli batter is outside- room temperature means not from fridge) 2. 10 mins, High flame (if idli batter right from the fridge and it is very cold) Always make sure , water in idli pot is boiling before keeping idli plates for steaming If idli(rice idli) is steamed more than above right time, it will get little hard. Yes madam, let it ferment outside. Once fermented you can keep it in fridge for upto 10 days. It will stay fresh n good, only thing is take the required batter out and refrigerate the rest immediately. Thank you 🙏

Please let me know how was the idli looking after steaming, i can guess what went wrong. Usually if we follow all the tips given in the video , the idli will come out super soft.
