Hello Raoul and Tammo,
Can you please make a video of monthly living expenses in Germany? And how much one can save at the end of the month while staying there and using bare minimum resources?
That will give a lot of motivation to us.
Thanks.
Thank you so much for your comment! We are on it 🙏

I'm a job seeker with a visa profile. I found a job through Hays Consultancy to work for their client under the blue-card category. Am I eligible to work through an agency like Hays?
Hi @mechonj0761 Having a blue card allows you to work in Germany, you are not connected to an agency. You are welcome to check our website and watch our video training www.findajobingermany.de/. Simply click on the video training link you find there.

Dear people, please do not rely on these and similar fairy tales about job security in Germany, especially when no references to law are provided. Regarding the tech industry, your workers' rights in Germany are similar to those in the US. Even after your probation period, you can easily get dismissed from work. The common reasons are: (1) your circumstances have changed (for instance, you got sick and had to go on sick leave), (2) your employer is unhappy with your performance (in practice, you as a non-German will have almost no chance winning in the court against a German employer; at best you may get a small severance package) (3) company restructuring (in practice, employers do fictional restructuring to render your position unnecessary). In practice, when compared to the US, all you get is a month or two of notice period. As opposed to the US, the severance packages are either non-existent or do not cover your monthly expenses, especially in big cities such as Munich and Berlin. Always keep in mind that Germans seek cheap workers and tend to heavily exploit their advantage over you when it comes to understanding German laws and regulations. Also, keep in mind that Germans often maliciously mistranslate their concept of "IT Fachkraft" as "IT Specialist". "Fachkraft" is much closer to what we call "qualified personnel" and is by no means similar to what we call a "specialist" in English. The German tech industry is underdeveloped relative to other European states such as The Netherlands and even Eastern European countries such as Poland. The demand for tech specialists is very low and this minimal amount of specialist positions are typically filled from big German universities such as TU Berlin and TU Munich. There is absolutely no shortage of IT specialists in Germany. There is a shortage of cheap labor and people who can be easily exploited due to a lack of knowledge of German laws and regulations.

Cannot relay on this , they are just trying to lure your money and time
First start replying to people who reached out to you on LinkedIn or personally . Then post kind of responses!
Hi @deeviharsha2971 We get a lot of messages on LinkedIn these days. We always say that you need to watch a video training and then book a direct call with us. There is no need to chat on LinkedIn for that.
