So sorry for the delay. Been out of town. So the factory lip within the bed allows for 18 inches. Once the gate was installed it extended to 25 inches. Should be plenty enough room for even large coolers. Hope this helps! See you on the trails!

What is the length between the bottom of that gate to the airbox cover? Im trying to figure out if my cooler would fit with that on
