BTS is a 7 member group who is now in their 10th year with a 350+ track discography largely written and produced by the members themselves conjoined by their inhouse producers. The leader 'RM' has 210+ credits making him the youngest most credited artist in Korea and the rest of the members are not far behind. BTS is known for being extremely profound at articulating what they introspect and composing it into the sound they with their artistic knowledge believe will deliver the emotion of their lyricsm. They began with their roots in hiphop but have experimented their way into currently having above 10+ genres in their discography with the main being hiphop, pop, r&b and electronic, but majority of the time its a fusion of these genres, or their subgenres. Like latin pop, old school hiphop with boom bap, rap rock, dance pop, ballads, emo hiphop, jazz etc. Since they articulate so well, their music is very human oriented adressing extreme mental health issues (all they way from comforting, motivating, to eery delivery with raw mvs that youtube asks for viewers discretion), sociopolitical commentary etc. Their discography shows the growth from school boys to the tribulations of youth, to addressing temptation, to reaching maturity, to loving onself, to finding the core essence of the mind (i work in the field of psychology and i have yet to find an artist that is as profound as bts in accurately potraying psychological themes) to fighting the pandemic to now doing solo albums as each of the bts members complete their mandatory military. They will come back as a group in 2025!

A few seemingly unexplainable moments in the music video are because this MV is part of the Bangtan Universe -- a fictional storyline that runs through a subset of their music videos. "BU content certified by Big Hit Entertainment" is noted in the descriptions for the MVs if they are a part of the storyline.

They have INCREDIBLE vocals live. Even while dancing. They have a recent live performance of their newest song "take two" on their BangtanTV channel (a song for their fans while they all slowly enlist for their military service requirements and we wait for their return). Their vocals are heavenly!

The most beautiful life goes on a story of bts (2023 update ) by the Rice Squad is a great way to get to know their story - context of how they were formed, bits about each member, their discography, and their accomplishments. It puts a lot of things into perspective. It's also cinematic so that's a plus :)

BTS always tries to empower people throughout any though situation. They are top trained to be champion dancer vocalists artists and songwriters. It takes years to be so intence for so long performances. Man that's another level
Fake Love is one of my Fav Songs! I absolutely love this song and the meaning behind it. It's actually not about Romantic Love like Fake Love in a Relationship... It's about the Love to youself. "Face youself in order to Love yourself" which means that if you're not true to yourself, your love won't last forever. The MV also does have a Special but deep meaning. It's part of Bts fictional Story the "BU" (Bts Universe) which also includes many other Music videos, especially from their Albums "The most Beautiful Moment in Life" (short: Hyyh) part 1 and 2

the mv is so cinematic because bts do transmedia storytelling for their music storyline. so there's a thing called Bangtan Universe(BU) thru which they try to portray what the nusic is trynna tell. it doesnt quite make sense unless you see it chronologically😅 but i dont think its that important to follow it exactly, just vaguely interpreting what they trynna say thru the storyline is enough

These are really fun to sing. Korean is phonetic so you can learn the consonants and vowels. I highly recommend putting in the effort because their songs are so fun to sing and rap to - highly therapeutic and satisfying to sing along in Korean!

This song is about going through a one way or Incompatible love, that you can't get away from or you just don't wanna, (trapped in your own feelings about a person you have either brought to your measures or brought your self to meet their standards, but it's not you anymore) but you won't let go. Each room is how everyone is closing in himself individually and how they like it before they're done with this... Then you just break the molds burn down bridges...and just get through it.❤❤❤

we see many songs about fake love but normally, it's more of blaming another for the so-called fake love given to us. however, the reason i adore this song by bts is because it takes a different take. they dig deeper... why do we receive fake love? oh. it's because we showcase our best side to please the object of our affection without realizing we're not being true to ourselves. hence, we lose ourselves. and when we lose ourselves, can we still consider the love we receive real? if we are loved because we're pretending to be someone we're not, then the love we receive can be fake too. in this song about fake love, the blame isn't mainly projected on another. it's more on introspection -- acknowledging what actions we took for the result to be "fake love."
and yes, their music videos have so many references to literature, art, etc. this music vid is not an exception. but, this mv is also a part of the bangtan universe (BU). the BU is a fictional storyline that's started since their debut days, mainly shown in their music videos. the most iconic starter is their I NEED U mv (original ver). so, the water, the fire, the chocolate bars, the rose, the windows shutting down and being opened all have meanings and are tied to some of their music videos going back to 2015. ☺️

BTS is really great! For other k-pop groups to listen to I would recommend either Stray Kids or Ateez, they also have really good songs. For Stray Kids songs to start off with either “God’s Menu” or “S-Class” the title song from their recent album 5-Star. Ateez songs I would recommend “Guerrilla” or “Wonderland”

i think i se victims of the jimin effect😉 i think one of you said he have beautiful eyes and plum lips, hehe but it´s hard to hear. but that is Jimin the angles and main dancer and he has a crazy high and sweet voice he sounds like an angel. he was also the guy you pointed out in the end at 10:38. BTS has 7 talented guys each with their own unique talent. they each have a solo album we only missing the last two members but still they have solo songs before their own album.

Pssst. If you're wondering, the fire scenes were real not CGI.
INFO: There are information videos and the boys and there background and history, there is so much content and check but most of it will have english subtitles, they have dance videos, variety shows, funny moments even a deep hidden storyline woven in the music videos for hardcore army to work out. An easy way to remember the boys is to split them up, 3 rappers, RM leader light rapper, Suga - deep hardcore rapper, Jhope - vocalist, dancer rapper, then you have 1 Deep vocalist, V he is easy to spot in most songs. then you have the 3 vocalists, Jimin is the cute one (you already noticed him) he is a very sweet high pitched voice, Jungkook also joins him but has a thicker voice and then you have the eldest Jin, You can go process of elimation working out the voices if you work out the vocal specialities. Army loves them all equally, however you need a way to tell one from another.

(Heads up, if you do get into it, lots of people will try to spoil the reveal of what's really going on. Mainly because all the content is out now, whereas it was released in a certain order back in the day.)
The first video in that is called I Need U (+19 version).
In a departure from the usual, the VISUALS IN THAT VIDEO ARE MORE IMPORTANT to the story than the lyrics - those were altered to be more "appealing to a romantic audience," but has little to do with the original intention of the song and the actual video.

Idk if someone already told you but Imma say it either way xD an interesting fact - BTS don't always green screen. Fake Love is a great example of how they do their own stunts. Like, this with the falling floor is all real, I think the water is all real, etc etc. They are just THAT amazing hehe
